I turned off Guess Pitching completely and having as much fun hitting as i've ever have. I'm tearing the cover off the ball each game. I'm tempted to go into Hall of Fame hitting for the rest of the season...

Well damn I fire the game up for my first game of the day and jamie Garcia gives up 5 runs on 7 hits in just the first inning. Omg

CPU contact on 6 is excellent as well.

I always say just one click up or down may be all you need to lock it into your wheelhouse.

Sorry and also solid hits and contact on 5. I needed a little more offense. I am still seeing all different hit varieties. And I'm not having a problem with home runs with the Braves I am 15 in the league in home runs so right in the middle.

How have the games been with it on 6?

so far ive played 3 games with the jays(2vs o's and 1 vs rays) and i havent really been challenged. Small sample size i know but ive felt in total control as the pitcher.

what should i do to get throw more balls? i feel like i can locate at anytime.

Cool. I was thinking of boosting CPU offense and was gonna raise power or solid hits. I think I'm gonna lv them alone and go contact plus one instead. I also pitch clean screen no vibration and my control and consistency at 2. Hope that boosts them a little

If ur not using classic pitching already, here's what will make u sweat on the the mound

Classic
No ball marker
No strike zone indicator
No vibration

I also have human solid hits contact and power all at 5. I have played about 16 games now with computer contact on 6 and I am loving the offense to computer is having I think 6 will be my sweet spot for computer contact

I've been playing a couple games now with this slider set with Veteran Hitting (because I admittedly suck at hitting) and All Star pitching. I'm happy with the results. I get 2-6 runs a game and around 6-10 hits.

I do Veteran hitting as well and it's good for my skill set.

How tough would it be with these sliders if you were playing a franchise with a team like the Padres, or Reds?

I'm my Astros and I'm just hammering pitches over the fence and hits all over the field.

Thoughts on errors? I am not seeing much as of yet but this may just be due to a small sample size.

I know it's already been answered but figured I'd chime in. I haven't seen any actually credited in the small sample size I've got (5 Games) but I have seen 2 errors that weren't credited as such. Once my RF misplayed the ball on the hop and booted it allowing the runner to advance and another time where the fielder bobbled the ball on a grounder and the runner was safe and that too wasn't credited as an error.

I'm really enjoying the game so far in the limited time I've had to play, the feel is just much better then last years version, not sure how to explain it just the feeling when playing and what happens on the field is better then last years game. I have seen a couple weird things, highlight was a clear cut HR down the RF line in Houston that bounced off the top of the wall and landed down the tunnel in RF that was somehow called a foul ball which was nowhere near being such but other then that the game has played flawlessly using these sliders.

Yeah man I play with the Braves as well. And my era is way too low for the pitchers we have on that staff. I have bumped the computer contact up to 6 but my sample size is too small to tell if it's working. I am giving up a few more runs but still dominating with my 4 and 5 starters. My strike percentage is right on point where it should be but just not giving up enough runs.

I've increased contact to 6 for both me and the CPU and it's made a huge difference. Elite starters still pitch that way and those middle of the road relievers pitch like their jobs are in jeopardy every time they step on the mound, as it should be.
