    Game 97
    NYY 4-7-0
    SEA 1-5-1
    2B: NY 1, Sea 1
    3B: NY 1
    HR: None
    BB: NY 4, Sea 2
    K: NY 5, Sea 7

Coming off the 13 inning heartbreaker I needed a good effort from my worst starter and CC Sabathia came through. With the bullpen needing a break, CC went 7 innings, gave up 5 hits, 2 walks and fanned 5. to "improve" to 5-9 on the season. Didi Gregorious was the star on offense going 3 for 4 with a triple and a run scored, Chase Headley had 2 RBI thanks to his 24th double of the campaign.

Quick update on my Yankees franchise with these sliders (Back to hitting on veteran, as my offensive results just seem to fluctuate more. (Which I like)

Had lost 4 of 5 and in danger of being swept by Toronto after losing the first two of the series 10-9 and 6-3, blowing early leads in both. We welcome Gary Sanchez back to the starting lineup for the finale and he doesn't disappoint, slugging a 2 run HR in his first at bat and adding a double later. We jump out 6-0, the Jays cut it to 6-5 with Otani on the hill for us, but we manage to stop them there and get some insurance as our bats come alive.

      New York 9-17-1 (2B-5, HR-3, BB-1, K-9)
      Toronto 5-7-0 (2B-1, HR-1, BB-2, K-10)

Record 55-59, 5th place but only 7.5 back still

      Team rankings
      Avg: .250 (19th)
      Runs: 466 (15th)
      2B: 190 (15th)

I like to review my franchise rankings to real life teams ranked in a similar position to get a gauge on how realistic the results from my current sliders are. A couple of things off a bit, but for the most part pretty much on point, which makes me happy.

        Average: 19th
        Franchise - .250
        RL - .244

        Runs: 15th
        Franchise - 4.09 per game
        RL - 4.42 per game

        2B: 15th
        Franchise - 1.66 per game
        RL - 1.64 per game

        3B: 27th
        Franchise - 0.12 per game
        RL - 0.08 per game

        HR: 3rd
        Franchise - 1.28 per game
        RL - 1.48 per game

        BB: 30th
        Franchise - 2.53 per game
        RL - 2.56 per game

        K: 3rd
        Franchise - 6.68 per game

Nice follow up to the last slugfest with Toronto. Boston comes into town and it is Sale against Tanaka. Everything you would expect and the difference is a double play ball Castro can't get out of his glove to throw to first, allowing a run to score. (This is a glitches that has happened to me twice now, step on 2B and pound the O button to go to 1st and nothing)

          Boston 2-8-1 2B-2, BB-3, K-5
          Yankees 1-4-0 2B-2, BB-2, K-7

That is why I went to auto fielding and auto throwing last year. It seems to flow better and I don't have to worry about the timing of buttons and them not working etc.

BYU 14's "Old Guy" quick count sliders for The Show 17

Just binged in Franchise with the Brewers...went 3-4. Started with a 2-game win streak followed by a 4-game loss streak.

              These are playing great. Had a wide variety of games...W 9-6, W 8-2, L 6-2, L 8-1, L 7-6, L 3-0, W 5-4

The L 7-6 game I was down 5-0 after 2 but slowly got back in it and took the lead 6-5 in the 8th only to blow the save.

L 3-0 as John Lackey dominated me with a 3-hit shutout.

Then we somehow managed to get 4 off of Arrieta but then again blew the save but luckily won it with a 2-out walk off single.

I've demoted my closer and I am going to experiment with Matt Garza at Closer.

I did lower pitch speeds by 1 cause I just can't catch up to mid 90 fastballs

Nice, glad to hear you are liking them and getting good variety. There are days I go to 4/6 instead of 5/7 too. Depends how the eyes are feeling that day, LOL.

Just played two games with these sliders, as I have finally had time to play some games.

Using the Cubs playing against the Pirates

First game was a 6-2 Victory was tied up 2-2 through 7 with Arrieta pitching against Cole. An Error a couple walks in the 8th led to a Grand Slam from Schwarber to put the Cubs up 6-2 and seal the win.

                  PIT 2 9 1
                  CHC 6 6 0

Second game came down to the 9th inning Tied up 0-0 Lester and Nova pitched great games each. Lester had a NO-NO broken up in the 7th I think. Again a walk led to a run and game being won as Baez knocked a bases loaded single for the winner.

                  PIT 0 2 0
                  CHC 1 6 0

My next game was against the Brewers. I won 3-2.

                    MIL 2 10 1
                    CHC 3 8 0

So in three games I have had a total of 20 hits with 4 of them HR and 1 Double.

What are you guys thinking about errors in offline franchise. I mainly play with my double A team this year.. Year 2 with twins. I have set my errors to 8 and 6 for Fielding and throwing but I still feel like these guys are making very few errors AND the SS and 2B seem to convert every highlight reel opportunity on computers end lol. To add to it I'm also in double A so shouldn't there be even more errors? Let me know

I am thinking of going to 8/7 inf/inf throwing errors as I feel things are a bit low as well. I would try just moving infield throwing errors to 7 before moving the fielding errors and see how that goes. I am going to test these numbers for a series of games and then update the OP if things look good. Let me know what your results are if you go 8/7 as well, the bigger the sample the better

Im telling you guys... Im not seeing anything weird with errors at 10.

Im using w/e Mike Lowe has as his fielding sliders.
