I'm having low scoring game as well and a lot of first or early count hitting and results in outs really fast. The starters pitch counts are quite low as well. HR is a bit low, I would like to see more HRs. I'm only on HOF hitting and Legend on pitching and its pretty tough to score.

Are you referring to CPU starters pitch counts? Or your own? For the most part, you are in control of the CPU's pitch count. Just have to be more selective in what you swing at. They will have a few games where they will dominate, but with some patience you should be able to get the starting pitcher near 100 pitches by the end of the 6th inning pretty often.

You should see more hitting and scoring this way too. Might not help HR as much because im very selective as and square them up, they just seem to die in the outfield a lot. But it should help some.

Of course HOF might be different on that aspect this year. Not sure on that.

This is correct. Since there are more than 50 Top Prospects in the game, it is now the symbol for Top Prospects. Next patch should include this icon in the Help menu legend along with some other missing symbol descriptions that have not been listed.

Have you been seeing the AI swing early in the count far too often? Lately I've been reaching the 6th or 7th inning of games with my starter only throwing between 60-70 pitches

How is it looking at 4? I’m torn between increasing power or solid hits to get more HRs on both sides.

Same here. Its just difficult to tell until i get a decent sample size. Im curious how 4 is looking as well. I dont want to increase doubles etc in the process because they are just about right.

Assuming you're at or close to default v1.45, please share your CPU strike and first-pitch strike percentages. I want to make sure those are still where they need to be, otherwise drawing walks and offense overall will be too easy.

Here are some CPU pitching percentages with strike frequency lowered and CPU consistency raised, as in OP (patch 1.07 if it makes any difference)

Over 2 users 40 combined games:

CPU strike % - 63.6% (MLB 64%)
CPU 1st pitch strike % - 61.7% (MLB 60.2%)
Wild Pitches - .30/G (MLB .37/G)
HBP - .46/G (MLB .34/G)

Walks have not seemed too easy overall, although we had one game with 9 walks and another with 7, and a few with 6. the rest have been between 1 and 4 per game, so it has averaged out ok.

I like 4 for human but thru 4 games played the mariners have 7 HRs against me so I’ll probably lower cpu down to 3. I like human at 4 tho. 4 HRs in 4 games so far.

So strike frequency 3 and consistency 7 cause I’ve been seeing too many strikes no balls

To be clear, CPU consistency and strike frequency are currently at 6 and 4 for these stats, which is the same as the current version of these sliders. When I said lowered/raised, I meant from the original 1.0 version of these sliders. Sorry for the confusion.
