Bit of a sloppy video, lol, sorry. Didn't do any editing and got lots of different angles.
I think everything looks great except for the angle/velocity of the throw from the 1B. Im not sure if that changes if you were to increase Infield arm strength to 6 or if it was just the AI that made him loop it in there, but I think that's the only issue with the play.

I’ve found that having base running speed lower the cpu stops at 3rd way to much and with auto base running, quite a number of times I’ve seem a runner just stop on 3rd instead of run home after a single when he’s come from 2nd base. Almost cost me a walk off last night. Thankfully I got a sac fly in the next at bat.

I realise o can do manual base running but I hate it i suck at it press to many wrong buttons panicking. I also realise I could have hit L1 but it was to late by the time I realised the runner just stppped at 3rd I have no doubt he would have made it. It wasn’t ortez it was the rookie star of the padres

I have no doubt in my mind that these are the best sliders in any sports game I've used. Currently using everything except some adjustments I've made:
        Baserunning speed: 5
IF and OF throw strength: 6
Starter and reliever stamina (both hum and cpu) : 7

Sometimes, HOF hitting feels impossible to me. That was the first two innings of this game. I struck out with my first 4 batters and had weak outs with the last two. Then the third was a different ballgame. I took a deep breath and started being super patient. From then on, i drew walks, i worked hitters counts, and I smacked the ball around. And the best thing is, it never felt easy. I worked hard for all of it. I was used to playing 2-1 and 4-3 games but this was my first time over 10 runs and I am still all smiles because of it. Ended up winning 10-4.

        My pitcher (Burnes) went 6IP, 4H, 3K, 2ER, 0BB
        CPU (Teheran) went 5IP, 5H, 6K, 6ER, 3BB

I hit my first ever grand slam (Aguilar) and Moustakas was a monster for me, going 3 for 3 with a HR, 2 doubles, 2 RBI, 2 Runs, and a walk.

This game can just make people feel success and failure like no other game.

Same happened to me last night. I was striking out all over the place until I finally settled in and started working the count more. Saw a lot of 3-1, 3-2 counts and was able to start hitting. I recently raised pitch speeds so I’m still adjusting to that.
I also found a happy medium with pitcher stamina at 6. I had it at 7 but I felt starters were going too long, especially CPU who would have their starter in for 100-115 pitches as long as they were leading.
It also makes pitching with lower rated guys a lot tougher, which I love. I don’t want to dominate a game with my 4th and 5th starters. Once in a while sure a bottom of the rotation guy will pitch a gem, but 9 times out of 10 I want them to struggle through 5 innings.

This is what it's all about! You have to have an ultra-realistic approach at the plate in order to succeed. It's not supposed to be easy, it's just supposed to be possible, and the rest is in the hands of your approach and then letting the ratings and the game do its thing. I've been using these sliders on HOF for years and I still have to remind myself to relax and take my pitches and have a smart approach at the plate. But guess what? Real life major league hitters have to do the same thing. That's what makes this game and this slider set so absolutely incredible.

Personally, I think the game does a good enough job at balancing hits by itself. Pull hitters will pull the ball without you doing anything. I get extremely realistic outcomes and stats over a long sample size without ever touching it.

In my opinion, having a whole strategy with the left stick where you change what you do in every count and situation is overthinking and over-micromanaging (not a word, I know), instead of letting the game do its thing, which it will if you give it the chance.

In summary, the game is balanced enough and getting crazy with the left stick is just too much user intervention and not letting the ratings and the great game play itself out. I think it kind of goes against the whole philosophy of what this whole slider set is about with the directional and clean screen approach and letting the ratings and the natural game be the deciding factor of outcomes!

Yes this is exactly what I meant. I don’t feel the need to use the directional aspect. The game does such a great job doing exactly what you just said. Maybe people using the joystick are somehow hampering themselves by using it. I just let the dice roll come into play.

I disagree with you guys.. the left stick is where it’s at. I’ve become a way better hitter and it’s easier for me to get the most out of my guys true hitting abilities with the stick. There’s a reason it’s now called directional hitting and no longer timing. I’ve seen all types of hits too.

To each their own! One of the beautiful things about this game is that one persons optimal experience could be just a little different, or totally different, from the next persons. Go with whatever works for you, that's what it's all about.

Agree 100%. I started using directional last year and my hitting improved greatly.

Anyone seen a CPU power outage? I have an extremely small sample size with only two games against the pirates, but they have not hit anything close. Josh Bell hit a line drive with a hit speed of over 100 mph but it landed well short of the wall.

Pardon the sloppy video again kind of messed up trying to get that last angle. Not much of an editor either lol

I really like the way these sliders are playing out, especially with run speed at 5 and outfield arm strength at 6. Its almost a necessity to have outfield arm strength at 6 with fielder speed and reaction at 4. Gonna try to hone in on the pitching/hitting aspect. Ive had some nice games so far and both directions. I may think about either removing my ball marker or lowering HUM consistency to 4 just to test the waters. Overall, though, im very pleased and feel like these sliders are very close.

Been following closely, however can't recall the exact 'edits' that are being tested regarding the throw/run speed.

                              Can someone please advise? TIA!

Also, Armor--might be a good idea to post a 'currently testing' section (or something along those lines) on the OP just to give us a heads-up.

Absolutely love this game and these sliders

The sliders asr playing great.. the arm strength and runner at 6 and 5 works. The only change I’ve made is human control at 5: I use no ball marker or vibration and I’ve been having hard time getting missed and strikeouts with it at 4
