Yes, you can. You go into settings and click the bottom middle option. I think it is called something teams. You will get a choice of each team and what user control for each.Follow me on Twitch

Re: Armor & Sword & Marino’s MLB The Show 19 Classic/Directional Simulation Sliders
Yikes! I just played my first game after the patch and I struck out 13 times total. Swinging and missing on what were previously good swings. I couldn't hit fastballs. Normally those are easiest for me.Comment

Yup me too. It’s odd that you are playing better on HOF than All-Star. Keep grinding . HOF is no joke this year . Good luck , I know I need it too

Re: Armor & Sword & Marino’s MLB The Show 19 Classic/Directional Simulation Sliders
Just played 1st 2 games post patch, no change to sliders, and man they were tough games to win, but awesome games.
1st game got a total of 13 K's against CPU, 2nd game only managed 4 K's. Both games both teams had good hit stats, but they were low scoring games. 3 to 2 and 4 to 2 games.
One thing I noticed was much more hit variety than before. Maybe cause of the timing change? Only managed to see about 4 doubles total between both games.Comment

Re: Armor & Sword & Marino’s MLB The Show 19 Classic/Directional Simulation Sliders
So it continues folks. As I previously mentioned I played 50 or so games on All-star hitting/pitching and mostly struggled. I've now played 6 games on HOF and I'm playing much better. It's like night and day. Just beat the Red Sox with my Rays 5-1. It seems like the sliders that differ between all-star and HOF really make a difference. More so than the actual difficulty setting. The game just feels way better for me on HOF, and I guarantee I'm not as good as most of you guys in this forum. It took me 2 games to get use to the post patch swing timing. All is good on that front. Someone mentioned seeing more variety on the hits post patch. I'm seeing that as well.Comment

Re: Armor & Sword & Marino’s MLB The Show 19 Classic/Directional Simulation Sliders
I will say after a small 3 game sample size post-patch - making contact and driving the ball is much, much harder. Fastballs were almost impossible to catch up to from what I was used to seeing before. CPU also appeared to be a little easier to strike out, but it was more noticeable on the user side of the bat.Comment

Re: Armor & Sword & Marino’s MLB The Show 19 Classic/Directional Simulation Sliders
I may be in the minority, but I'm actually loving the patch so far. Hitting was something I didn't struggle with, if anything I'd say I was a 7/10 at hitting and 3/10 at pitching as far as on field results went.
On average I had more games where the total runs between both teams was >15 or <6 and in the 5 games I've played so far they were:
2-7
3-1
7-5
6-9
4-2
I'm assuming that with a larger sample size I will see double digit run totals and shutouts happen, but the balance so far seems to be better. I'd rather see 50% of games be around 10 runs as opposed to most games being super high or low scoring which was my experience.Comment
