Lol. Oh man, you don’t the troubles I’ve seen! I’m actually embarrassed as to how many times I start over and going through all the teams rosters, setting their 25-man rosters, lineups, rotations over and over and over again. I can honestly say that I’ve had this game for almost 2 months and I have yet to play the Yankees 2nd series of the year. But things will be different - this time!! Good luck to you as well

Another reason to love carry over. No restarting for me (unless I go through the off season again). I purposely did not save my carry over at the start of 19 just for this reason.
Now I have been messing with a 19 version till the gold set got settled. Now time to return to my year 2 Indians.

Also to finally start my Braves 19 franchise as well. I'm done changing sliders and rosters. I'm good for the year.

Don’t worry too much playing around with Rosters it’s half the fun for me! I spent last night recrafting Bacons Fictional Roster AGAIN. Like you I haven’t started a keeper Franchise where I got through the first series yet but by the time I do the pitcher/DH bug will be fixed and my sliders will be locked in. There’s plenty of time left in the year for me to play the game........

This site has some nice ones under the dynasty tab here. I like them. They are simple and look nice and clean.

This is something I miss. I loved seeing closers get 2/3 inning saves. That’s a thing of the past now for sure!

Chance Adams got a 3 inning save for the Yankees yesterday. Granted the score was 13-5 at the time so it was clearly safe to get him some work.

So for what ever reason I can't hit since the last two patches. I have now played 10 games post patches and haven't scored more than 3 runs. I went from 12th in the league in batting average to 29th. I know it cant be the patches but **** this is a terrible bad streak I'm on.

Same but for me it's 2 runs. I get runners on just can't bring them home.

Version 5.0 is now official and we are finally Gold

What has changed? Human hitting. Funny we are back to where we should be now that the last two patches have cleaned up some things.


Human Timing back to default 5 (yep....feels right at default now for me. Strange but true and I think that has a lot to do with me finally adjusting to the new feel of HOF on 19)

Human Solid hits to 4 - hit variety is off the hook and this is the sweet spot


Human Power to default 5 - Power is good at default, at 6 it became OP post patch 1.10

I'm still on the previous settings and struggling to hit post patch. I've had 3 straight games of scoring 2 runs. I see everyone saying they get these high scoring games and I'm jealous 😂. I was doing much better pre-patch.

Ok, listen man. I get called every variety of conspiracy themed insults on here and Irl. But I don't care, these things are plain to see. For me anyways.

I often seem to be getting strikingly different results than everyone else. But after dealing with Madden and WWE 2K for years (the resident power couple of legacy coding), my mind is always open to things.

So, try playing on your 2nd profile. I swear, 50% of the time, it seems like either I hit way too well or way too poorly, or pitch way to well or way to poorly as it should reflect to the sliders.

To my non surprise, the 2nd profile played more "pitching" than my main, where Armors sliders were not just producing different results, it was producing ridiculous results. On the 2nd profile, suddenly, game play seemed exactly like everyone had been saying it had, which would fly me into silent rage because I couldn't understand why....

Dumb as it sounds, I promise you'll see something

i agree. i'm getting low scoring games also. hopefully, it's just my team going through a slump :\

I agree. I am so happy I haven't restarted over and over.....which has been an issue in the past. This game is so good it is pretty realistic OOTB....not perfect, but good. So, tinkering a little with settings in franchise doesn't skew the results that far from 'real life'....by the time you are out of April, the game should be customized to you and you still have 5 MONTHS of season left. ........restarting, imo, solves nothing because you are still going to play how you play and the game is going to be the game...so, from my experience, it's best to make settings that work for you (even if they aren't the same for you and the CPU), play some exhibition/spring training, let it ride, tweak as necessary and then voila.....you are rolling!

Plus if you keep restarting, depending on which team you use, you’ll be playing the same team over and over again. Yankees, for example, opened the season against the Orioles. They’re a really bad team so what are you really going to accomplish by restarting and playing them constantly?
