Re: Armor & Sword & Marino’s MLB The Show 19 Classic/Directional Simulation Sliders

Coming off of a 2-0 shutout to the Twins and a 4-3 loss to the Royals I followed up in game 2 against the Royals with a 15-3 win. First game of the year over 10 runs. My offense had been struggling for about a week in game and had a hard time putting runs on the board until this game but finally Lindor and Judge started showing signs of life both hitting homeruns in the game. The Indians drew 4 walks, stuck out 8 times and were patient at the plate hitting 5 homeruns total. Hopefully this is a turning point for them. We are still in first thanks to my bullpen which has been lights out so far this year but with the offense on the up and up finally, we have some confidence to start putting some space between us and the second place Royals.

Re: Armor & Sword & Marino’s MLB The Show 19 Classic/Directional Simulation Sliders

Well, game 1 in the books. Yankees jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the bottom of the 1st thanks to a 2-rbi double by Stanton and s 3-run homer by Torres. The Orioles hung around and after a solo homer by Chris Davis in the top of the 4th it was 5-3 Yankees. But the Yankees exploded for 4 runs in the bottom of the 4th on 6 hits (5 singles and a double). Orioles caused some tense moments in the 5th scoring 3 more runs in the 5th making the score 9-6. That was the end for Severino needing 98 pitches to get through 5. Only 5 of the 6 runs were earned. Yankees scored 3 more runs in the 7th thanks to a Stanton solo homer, a ground rule rbi double by Andujar and a rbi single by Voit. Yankees would score 3 more runs in the 8th thanks to a rbi single by Gregarious and a 2-rbi double by Stanton. Villar ended the scoring in the 9th with a solo homer off Holder.

So final score was Yankees 15 and Orioles 7. Orioles got 13 hits including 2 doubles and 2 solo homers. Yankees collected 19 hits, including 6 doubles and 2 homers. Stanton was the star going 4-5 with 2 doubles, a homer and 6 RBIs.

This is on HOF with Armours exact sliders. I don’t use a clean screen however, as I have swing/pitch info turned on when hitting and pitch select display turned on when pitching

V2 is not the base for V3. I believe it is all new. It will have equip edits but not as comprehensive as Scott’s V2 which are exceptional. User Totte is also working on a Opening Day V2 (40 man). I’m going to have a look at V3 but I’m leaning toward sticking with V2.

I definitely understand sticking with V2, but I'm leaning toward V3 (will download it soon and find out for sure) since I don't really pay attention to equipment in-game other than my own Phillies, which I always edit myself anyway. Having all the face scans of the rising stars is worth losing extensive equipment edits in my opinion.

Regardless I just think it's awesome that this year we seem to have more diverse roster options to choose from and more rosters in general that are OSFM based. I remember the flash drives of days gone by

Don’t worry I made the mistake of looking at Ridins Twitter and reckon he has sold me on version 3 with me copying across Scott’s equip edits for the Red Sox. Probably will be a good idea as Michael Chavis just keeps getting better with each release

Before I even knew about message boards and sites like this, 13 year old me got quite the punishment for using my dad's credit card without permission to buy a Rivals.com subscription for $10 so I could spend an entire week of my summer vacation manually editing every player in NCAA Football 2003 just so I could import proper draft classes into Madden when it came out the following month.

I almost didn't get Madden as my birthday gift for pulling that stunt, but it was worth it. The next few years I saved up the money to give my dad beforehand, until I found this place. Blew my mind I wasn't the only weirdo doing that with my NCAA rosters. Then I discovered could just send someone money and a week or two later get a PS2 memory card with the roster on it in an envelope. Good times.

After an 11-5 win over the Rockies tonight, I knew i wasn’t going to play anymore so I started looking through potential trades.. the one that stick out to me was possibly trading away Ender Inciarte to the Rays for Kevin Kiermaier..
I really struggle to hit consistently with Ender
I have some time to think it over while playing a slow pitch tournament tomorrow.. just wondering what you guys think

Not to be a jerk but there is a dedicated trade thread. But to your ?......the rays wouldn't make that trade
