100% ur right . It's like I start to panic and just over think everything when I got base runners in scoring position , I have no idea what to do anymore . I also ground out into double plays frequently as well . I'll go a few games without using any stick influence and see how it goes

So I've fired back up the show and have been playing hardcore for the last week. I always wonder why the hell inever stop playing this amazing game.

I decided to start my franchise over with the end of the year rosters with my Braves. Since I lost my Braves year 3 franchise when my ps4 crashed a few months ago.

I'm having so much fun and have already put my touch on the Braves roster. I traded Julio Tehran and a few prospects to the Giants for Madison Bumgarner. Also traded Billy Hamilton and a A prospect to the Cubs for Craig Kimbrel. Kimbrel was not happy in Chicago after they made him a setup man.

So I'm off and running and having a blast. The only question now is do we or do we not need Mlb 20. I know by release day Armor will have talked himself into buying it and I will follow as well. Lmao

I also just used this to help a slumping player collect 3 hits in a game. I used contact swing with 2 strikes on Kevin Pillar in three consecutive at bats and hit 3 singles. I had been pressing to get him some home runs and he's got zero through 19 games. Since he's my favorite Giant I was trying too hard witg him and really struggled. Just like you were trying too hard to knock runs in with RISP.

Yeah I'll for sure try this contact swing , especially when having a runner on 3rd .

Ahhh how I miss Pillar playing in a Jays uniform and making amazing plays in the outfield . Such a great and humble guy as well . Must feel good to get him out of a slump , but homers will be tough for him to get for sure .

His power is in the 60's. So Im hoping I can get him in the high teens. He instantly became my favorite player IRL after he arrived in SF. Do you have trouble at HOF level getting home runs out of your guys who hit around 10 or so a year? I'm getting nothing from those guys through 20 games. So they're on pace for zero. But I'm hoping that changes.

Ohh ok , different rosters will always have different ratings / stats . Roster I'm using he has power in the 40's . And yes playing in September now and I see things seem to even out stats wise . Some batting averages may be low for me but individual home run numbers are pretty spot on for the most part to match real life stats of the Jays .

That's a impressive era , but I really don't think it will last long. My first 30 or so games I was ranked in the top 10 for Era , whip and least amount of homers given up , but trust me as games went by things really do change. Do u play with the vibration on or off? I play with it off and it's really the best way to go especially when pitching . You should really put pitch consistency back to 5 , that makes such a big difference . I really do think things will change soon enough and u will have a tougher time as the games go by.

What's funny is I pitched worse with Analog in my last franchise. This one has been all Classic.Maybe I will graduate to turning the ball marker off and even the vibration. I just graduated to HOF hitting and I'm doing better than I expected so why not try something on the pitching side right? I've been on HOF there for a long time now. My restart I've gone 15-5 and I feel guilty for playing so much better than the real Giant's. But everything is clicking right now.

I will probably keep it on 5. I just turned ball marker off and gave up 2 runs in 11 innings. Next step will be vibration off. Pitching has just been too easy. I may even bump up cpu timing to 6. I've already got their contact and solid hits at 6.Thanks for your input and thanks for letting me share my franchise experience. I don't have any friends locally who are playing this game so it's great to have this forum.
