My suggestion is to only bump up in small increments. I got crazy and played some games on 10/9, and got wrecked. I ended up at 8/7. That said, to directly answer your question, pitch speed doesn’t effect gameplay.

My plan for PS5 is to rip out my 2TB Drive out of my PS4, put back in the original, and use the 2TB as an external harddrive.

Hopefully it means I won't lose anything saved involving The Show, but I highly doubt it will keep all the Sounds of the Show saved. That will be the 1 thing I'm dreading to do all over again. Unless I'm missing something and that can be saved to the cloud too?

I do wish that the Show could patch in Ray Tracing for the game in someway, but doubt it, they're probably already looking towards the Show 21.

Just curious Armour, what “criteria” do you use to determine your pitch speeds? This is what I struggle with the most (and makes me start over all the time). I’m in between 8/7 and 9/8. And how do you determine if your pitch speeds are too low/high?

I'm not Armor....but I will throw-in my two cents....

Upper 90s/Low-100s pitches should make you uncomfortable to where you have to be sitting on fastball to catch up. Low 90s pitches should be reasonably hittable (but not to the point where you're constantly out in front).

Offspeed pitches should throw off your timing enough to be out in front of them if you're sitting on FB.

I’m walking at least 5 times a game with pitch speed at 8/7. Striking out around 6 times a game (as high as 12 and as low as 2). Could this be a sign that I need to increase pitch speed to 9/8? My hit totals very from around 12 to 6. Thanks

It's not about numbers, it's how you feel at the plate vs different sorts of pitchers. Only you can answer how you feel there....

I wish I had the plate discipline to walk that much. I'd say, good job enjoy those numbers.

30 team control guys....... I have a SP that I sent to AAA and he keeps getting skipped in the rotation. I've tried moving him to the LRP and then the next day move him back to SP. I've tried manually making him the next starter. Now I have to constantly watch and when its his day to pitch and the cpu skips over him, I have to move him to the starter that day spot and rotate everyone forward a day. How can I fix this?

The only time I experienced something similar was when I tried to play a LF at 1B in my AAA team. I figured I'd do like the MVP 05 days and get him at-bats and let the sim rack up errors. I found out the cpu was subbing him out automatically each game because he was out of position. But I've never had this happen with a pitcher although I don't know I've ever tried it.

It's this a carry over save? I had this bug in the past due to carrying over mid-season. Unfortunately, I could never find a work around outside of taking two controllers into the startup and setting starter pitching myself.

I could never get the CPU to play the right pitcher, and there was a year where a couple teams never played their ace due to it. It resolved itself after the season turned over, but it was a huge bummer. Tampa Bay was a serious contender that year, but got hit hard with the bug, with not one but two pitchers suffering from it, and not just any two, but their two best. Only solution I came up with was to manually injure the pitchers and treat it like the team's bad luck.

Ugly bug Forme.

This is one of a few reasons I have carried over during the off-season and before Spring Training starts.

As far as Yankees YR4 ALCS we are now up 3-1 over the Indians amd loom to close it out tomorrow.

The long shot Marlins who have simply had such an incredible season (and the CPU basically built this team over the 4 years we have played this franchise) are on the cusp of their first World Series appearance since 2003 as they hold a 3-2 lead over the S.F Giants.


Once I conclude Year 4 I will post a massive end of season update with Yankees 2020 player stats, top performers around the league, awards, post season results and the off-season Hot Stove!

I carried over at the last day of off season from 19. I'm in late may on 20 now. I sent Plutko down till early in May.

I can't remember where I did my off season. I think it was on 19 and then saved it before end of off season and then loaded it to 20. Then started my yr 2 campaign.
