Armor would you consider the pitching view user preference? I usually hit and pitch with the same camera. I’ll stick with the broadcast view for pitching and defense but I truly despise them lol

I was having this issue too until Armor showed me the right way to swipe bags.

Tee up the runner by pressing L2. Then hold down L1 and release it right When the pitcher starts his motion to the plate. Unfortunately, if pitcher throws over you are likely dead meat.

Still need to run on good counts and with guys who have good speed/steal ratings…..but this method has worked wonders for me.

Hi folks, Fairly new user here to The Show, and baseball in general (not that big over here in the UK). Having said that, I find my skill level suits All Star. I was wanting to try these sliders over a 162 game franchise, for an authentic experience. Do you think these sliders would work at All Star, for my skill level, or should I take the plunge and try it on HOF? (Lowering pitch speeds for example if struggling). Cheers.

No right or wrong way to play this, but I’d encourage you to just start on HOF (it’s how these sliders were tested) and take your lumps. You’ll get better in no time…..

            Cameras are purely user preference.

From the UK also...go as listed and practice... It won't take long to get used to it. You can always lower pitch speed to help.

Normally I’ve always used timing hitting with the analog/stride setting, but I know these sliders call for directional. Is there a huge disadvantage to using timing swinging? I’d like to try directional but god I am just not getting it…

They will work fine with timing only.

I actually dropped batting down to All Star for me because I'm really struggling to hot this year and it's still working fine. You could also try lowering the pitch speeds before you go down a difficulty.

I would say if you're not giving up way too many runs, try keeping pitching at HOF. I find it to be the most realistic and have seen a good variety of runs given up per game.

Just a heads up for everyone thinking that it's too easy to hit and/or pitch. Double check your difficulty settings. I assumed that when I loaded these sliders, that everything would switch. Nope, not the case. When I first started up The Show 22, I selected "veteran" as it was the "recommended" option. My hitting difficulty and pitching difficulty stayed at veteran. So at 11-0, my dominating Big Red Machine (Cincinnati Reds) were absolutely raking and destroying the bump. 15, 14 and 12 k games with Mahle, Greene and Lodolo respectively. Even Vlad Gutierrez is killing it. So, I double checked Armor's sliders and sure as sh!t, my difficulty is way off. This is gonna be a nightmare when I change it to HOF... lol.

I will add that directional is just like timing unless you point your stick in a direction. So there is no loss by putting directional on.

I only use directional with extreme pull hitters or if I need to ‘push up’ to influence a sacrifice fly, or ‘push left’ to try and hit around a shift.

Either way if you don’t influence the direction, it will be the same as timing!

What are the main differences between Ridin’s roster and SDS roster?

Worth starting my franchise over, or is it basically equipment changes and better minor league rosters (which I don’t really care about)

                                Thanks
