Thank God I didn't spend a lot of time playing 20 and can't fully appreciate it I guess because I am loving this year's iteration…



I'm not sure I could go back to Matty V after playing 22.



I do fully feel your frustration when it comes to lack of love being shown to franchise. I get irritated every year watching twitch streams prior to launch watching how excited the developers are to release a new legend.

Yeah they as a studio have moved on from the pioneer franchise guys. And I get it.

You gotta go where the revenue is. And the revenue is in stubs and online
Competitive guys ripping open packs to compete.

So in turn we will move on as well and stick with a game that for me is the panacea of console baseball in MLB 20.

I gave 22 a real go and yes other than the check swings and the ridiculous screw up of Rawlings gloves….the game is fantastic.

But that element to far too important to me. I can’t enjoy a game where the slightest “too much” pressure on a button ruins the obvious. I recognize the pitch, I clearly held up the bat….but because my thumb put slightly more pressure….you get my point. That is not simulation.

That is video gaming with an online E-sport mentality and that’s not me.

20 is the king. My ps4 finally crashed with the 20 game stuck inside. I bought the 5 based on how well you thought 22 was in the beginning. Maybe the new nhl on the ps5 idk lol. Need
to try something

Armour, which 2022 set are you using for 2020? There are a couple of Canadeon
sets in the vault. I want to make sure I’m using the right one. And I assume they didn’t mess with player ratings.

Did you set up your 8-man bullpen for cpu teams by not putting a pitcher in the SU2 spot?

I’m trying to load 2020 on to my ps5. It seems to almost be done and I get a message “can’t install”. The game loads just fine on my ps4. The Show 2022 loads on to my ps5. I’ve cleaned the disc, shut off ps5, unplugged it and tried again, but won’t install.

Any thoughts? Do I need to buy a new version of 2020?

Have you tried the import utility that will transfer your game from ps4 to ps5? It will include your save files as well.

No, but I ordered a new 2020 game and it installed. Weird.

I just make sure no one with more than 40 stamina is in the LRP spot

LRP 1 - reliever less than 40
MRP 1,2,3, relievers rated highest to lowest
MRP 4 - long reliever
SU 1,2 - best relievers that aren’t closer
CL - closer

And please advise which Canadeon roster set you are using.

Agree, and for those that enjoy 22, that's great! Some of us have reverted to 20, but i don't think any of us are bashing 22....just prefer 20.....hope everyone enjoys whatever version they've landed on!

Retro bump speeds to 7 too

BUT I also like the challenge of Fish Eye 1 (default pitch speeds)

I like Strike Zone 3, I think that’s it. Good plate coverage and still have good views of the fields, foul pole to foul pole. [emoji106]

I’ve been playing with Retro cam this year and really enjoy it. I’ve been using pitch speeds at 6 but was wondering if I should bump up to 7. Would you suggest it’s best at 7 using that cam Dowie?
I’m using Armors sliders for reference so I know it’s been said pitch speeds should be bumped up from 5 when not using Fish eye camera.
