Was thinking of making the switch form all star plus. How do these play. Went 105-57 with Josh’s default sliders. Just felt like no punch from cpu. I was using 2022 giants.

Back when I played 22 they are legit.

About to play my 56th game in my online league thats based off the real 2022 MLB season. Real lineups, we use the starter who pitched, we keep transactions and injuries updated as to when they happened in real life.

* This again other online older games like myself not 1 game vs the CPU.

* I have managed to tie my 2021 win streal with the ASTROS of 29 straight wins. Today at 5:30 I go for the record of 30 straight wins. Come hang out and see what were about and what we done all year!!

Year to year saves for 23 won’t be a thing again so they better have greatly improved the gameplay to get me to buy the game this year. The last two shows were underwhelming to say the least.

What are the best rosters to use with these sliders?

I am looking for a roster set that has realistic ratings for the minor leagues. The official rosters for the major leagues I think are fine.

I screwed up my cubs franchise with unrealistic minor league players, and I want to start over. I don't see much in the way of improvements to franchise mode in mlbshow 23, so I plan on sticking with 22, but going with 30 team control as armor suggests, so that I can have a long, healthy franchise over many years.

Edit: I'm going to go with Riding Full Minors 22.

Now I just need to figure out how to do the 30 team control on the xbox series x. If anyone can link me to directions on how to do it, I would appreciate that. Going to search for how to do it right now.

I need some help here with 30 team control.

Do I put force trades on so that I can fix a crazy trade that the AI does? And if I have force trades on, is there a way that I can tell if the AI wants to a cept a trade that I propose? I do not want to fleece the AI.

I tried to set things so that all the AI teams are set to auto for just put everything, while I control everything for my cubs, but I am having trouble with this. Can anyone help me?

How are complete game numbers with this slider set? I'm playing on default at the moment and seeing a ton of complete games by the computer when simming. So I'm a little hesitant to up the starter fatigue so much...

I think it's a legacy issue that may not be able to be solved with sliders, but I don't want to make it worse, you know?

I use your sliders with Bacon's rosters on MLB the Show 20 (on PS5) and it's my favorite gaming experience. I use to buy the new Show each year, but haven't upgraded since 20 because of no Y2Y saves. I have a tough time leaving my Bacon franchise. I read through the thread in regards to the issues with 22 compared to 20, are you planning to get 23? Thanks for all your work.

A month later, but thought I'd add I tried these out to try and combat a CG SO happening every day, and they've worked well. When I sim a day, I change the sliders to the following from this thread:

Over the years, I've used these specific sliders for simmed games.

CPU Starter Stamina 4
CPU Reliever Stamina 4
CPU Manager Hook 6

This cuts the complete games/shutouts way down and also boost the offense slightly. On default, the pitching is too strong and not enough runs are scored.

When I play in a game, I set those sliders back to Armor & Sword's set. Maybe simming with those changes mess up some other things, but for me the CG SO was my biggest gripe so I'm willing to accept some other issues if this solves that.

Hey Armor I just picked up 23 and I'm liking it alot. I know you are rolling with 20 but I was kinda hoping you'd be making a set for 23. I get your reasons with the year to year saves and all. Your set for 22 was spot on and once I used your exact sliders last year I never looked back.

Any chance that I'd be safe using your 22 sliders for 23? Or do you recommend anyone elses sliders for 23? I was thinking about using TNK's 23 set but your my go to guy for the Show and Madden so I figured I'd ask.

I know alot of guys are sticking with 20 but I'm itching to play a season on 23 with the new scheduling and new playoff format.

If you look at his 20 and 22 sliders they are pretty similar. I would think the 22 sliders would work fine for 23 for the most part, but I don’t see him doing a set or providing any input there as he doesn’t have the game.
