How do I create 2 profiles within the same franchise?
Create the profiles before you start franchise, then assign those profiles to each team when starting franchise.

I'm not seeing the option to assign other profiles to teams

When starting franchise, go to each team and click each team and assign them a profile. Either the one for your team, or the one for the rest of the teams.

I'm not seeing that option. The only options I'm seeing are to choose between Casual, Competitive, and Simulation with the right stick. Or to press R1 and make it a custom team.

Is there a way to send a picture of what you're talking about? Maybe I'm just not understanding

Sounds like you haven't created a new profile with everything at automatic, and saved it as an option to use. It would show up there along with casual ,etc...

Settings in the top right corner, then click on settings, scroll over to the 3 dots, save and or edit name. I make one profile called "human" and one profile named "cpu" and make sure they are set up the exact same except for the mode specific options. Then in franchise using 30 team control make your team "human" and all other teams "cpu".

Armour, what did you notice between human contact at 6 and 7? I’m kind of stuck between the two - I feel I might get a few too many hits on 7, and a maybe too few on 6. I would love to have a 6.5 slider!

You could always increase the pitch speeds or maybe decrease the timing if hitting is slightly to easy for you.

I did increase pitch speeds to 7/7 recently. Seems challenging enough when it comes to being late on 95+ heaters.

Far better variety. It opener up the hitting engine and brought it closer the GOAT MLB 20.

That hitting engine was the best ever to this day.

Anything less than 7 for the human is too rigid for my taste.

                          Just keep playing.

Thanks Armour. I experimented with cpu contact at 6 for some games as I just think the cpu needs a bit more offensive punch. It became pretty obvious that you were right and cpu contact should be at 5. But I am going to try cpu solid hits at 4 for a handful of games.

Personally, I think these sliders are locked in.

Only thing I continue to “stress” about are not necessarily the # of foul balls, but when foul balls occur.

Still seeing way to many pitches that there is just NO way a hitter would put bat on ball (user or cpu).

Again, don’t see sliders fixing this w/o upsetting the overall balance of the game.

I use meter but reduce pitcher consistency and control. Doing that, plus removing the ball marker and strike zone (i.e. going clean screen otherwise) I find meter works just fine.
