THIS is what I was hoping to hear
I just decided to wait for the regular release instead of early access, and from what I have seen so far, this game ought to be pretty good this year.

Bryan, I caught some of your stream the other night, and I do have a couple of questions...

1-Are you going to be using QC's? Just wondering because I pitch every pitch, and I'm sure this may have an impact on sliders.

2-Also in winding down with 24, I was using nothing but classic pitching, and while I get the reason for using it (more ratings based) I just didn't "gel" with it, I felt like I didn't have any control at all, so I have been seriously thinking about just going back to meter, but in doing so I would lower consistency to 4 in order to make meter not so "automatic"...does that sound right?

3-Hopefully this will be the last question (for now at least...lol) these are going to be HOF sliders correct?

Thank you so much for the hard work you put into the sliders and can't wait to plug them in tonight.
People are for reviews if it backs their argument, and against them when they don't.

Hey thanks for coming back on 25. You are going to be very pleased with this game. We are not going to be using quick counts. That still causes too many strikeouts. Steve tried it one game and gave up. So we will be every pitch. And I enjoy that now cause you don’t miss anything with presentation wise.

We have been testing nothing but classic. But where we are settling for control and consistency, you can use them for meter. What would be pretty cool is to do a random number generator to determine if you use meter or classic. To keep it fresh. But that’s just an idea.

        These will be on HOF.

Any other questions, let us know. We are here to help!

Can you switch back and forth from the Male to Female Announcers from game to game or do you have to choose one set and stick with it?

You only can choose at the beginning of the game. I just looked if I can change it but it doesn’t give the option during the game. Same with the regional theme.

Thanks for the answer. That sounds good. You can try out different things each game.

                  The graphics look pretty good.

                    Happy Official Release Day everyone!

You willl experience a bug with announcing right off the bat. A lot of the times the announcer will say groundball right field base hit when it is a ground out or fly out. That should be fixed in the next patch hopefully. SDS is pretty good about fixing those types of things.

Here is our V1. I will write it in the post tomorrow when I’m on a computer at work. I have been testing most of the night with Steve. One nice thing is we can test together to get more sample size quick or try different things. We are experienced enough to know pretty quick if something feels off. So here is the V1. Let us ki if you have any questions, suggestions, or anything f you want us to look at or test.

                        For the Dodgers
                        2025 / 2024 in real life
                        Scott (CP) 64 G, 65 IP / 72 G, 72 IP
                        Phillips SU2: 59 G, 59.2 IP / 61 G, 54.2 IP
                        Treinen SU1: 78 G, 92.1 IP / 50 G, 46.2 IP
                        Banda MR1: 47 G, 50 IP / 48 G, 49.2 IP
                        Vesia MR2: 71 G, 85.1 IP / 67 G, 66.1 IP
                        Yates MR3: 77 G, 78.2 IP / 61 G, 61.2 IP
                        Kershaw LR1: 27 G, 93 IP

Thanks for the sim and stats. You can clearly see, that The Show still has a problem with overusing RP. In real life they average below one inning per game, while in the Show it is way above --> 78 G to 92 IP, 71 to 85.
However, the stats look better than before.

Did you also look at the batting averages? Are there still many players hitting above .300?

I didn’t really look at the offensive side but I’ll do another sim and check. There were a few pitchers with more than 200 strikeouts. But still a big improvement from where we were. I think most SU guys were pretty much even with G and IP. Just like one or two MR guys had about a 10 IP difference.

Nothing seems forced. Everything is organic and seamless.

It seems that you are in the middle of a movie rather than playing a game.

I wonder if maybe putting hook at 6 just for April and May would be the perfect spot for CG. Then moving it back to 5 for the rest of the season. It makes sense too because most teams don’t let their starters go very deep early in the season. They usually ramp up over the first month or so.

Also on an aside. Your current sliders are looking very close to what I’ve been testing myself. I think it’s going to be really easy to get things dialed in this year. Game is very polished OOTB.
