I was seeing too many pop ups. Especiallly with hangers. I would see them more than what I wanted. Don’t want them all the time but it was frustrating when you had it and it is mostly a pop up.

We lowered it to curb homeruns. So we will have to keeep an eye on it. Lowering timing by 1 might be a good counter balance. It will make your timing window smaller. Lowering it by one will now give you a few more misses instead of fouling it off or putting it play.

I reluctantly dropped human power to 4. I was just seeing too many guys with low power hitting opposite field rockets. Small sample size though, I'm still in April.

The power in this game is insane. I play with Cleveland which is supposed to be the 2nd best pitching staff in the league with the roster I’m using and I’m dead last in home runs allowed persistently giving monster home runs to players that don’t even have much power. Hitting wise I’ve never hit so many home runs. Jose Ramirez leads the league in home runs which is not a surprise but he’s tied with Steven Kwan lol.

You could lower CPU power to 4. Wouldn’t go any lower cause 3 is too nerfed and you don’t get any balls in the gaps. I’m also debating on raising HUM consistency to default. In my test franchise of 25 games I was averaging just over one wild pitch per game. That could also curb some homeruns allowed.

I was thinking the same. Too many wild pitches and some aren't even in the dirt... it's like my catcher just refuses to catch some of them sometimes. Very odd. Other than that though, I am pitching fine.

I noticed that too. A couple I would be like oh that should be a passed ball but it wasn’t. Funny, on 24, it was the opposite sometimes. They would give the catcher a passed ball when it was way over his head.

I haven’t looked but maybe they want the catcher ratings to matter more. But I am using Will Smith and I didn’t think he was that bad.

When I use Hedges there’s still a bunch. He’s rated in the 90’s defensively. It’s universal sadly.

Quick question on the deck of cards addition (brilliant and look forward to using it). If you make the changes to you sliders in-game rather than from the settings menu, will the revert back to base after each game or will i need to write down or remember my changes and reverse them back again?

Hey there, glad to see you back here. I missed you. What I do is I save a play slider set and a sim slider set. So I have 2 slider sets saved. So I load the play slider set, do the cards, and then after the game, I load the sim sliders to sim to my next game. Then I load the play sliders which are the original.

I’m wondering if it will be something they patch in. I noticed most of mine are the sweeper (the new pitch). And maybe with it being the new pitch the catchers aren’t coded correctly to block them? I don’t know.

I think my head is spinning a bit but if i understand correctly, whatever changes you make to sliders in-game stay in-game (even for the next game but do not update my original set outside the game. So, if i load up a sim set and then back to the my set prior to the next game, i should be back to square one, but if i do not do these things then my previous games tweaks will still be in the next game as my starting point.

So once you load a sim set you would lose all of the changes you made to the last game’s sliders. And would have to load the play sliders up again which would be the original sliders. Now if you didn’t load any sliders after your next game and then went to play your next game, you would still have the same modified sliders as last game.

Sounds good. I am going to plug in your sliders and start up a season with the Dbacks and will let you know how it goes. I am also going to plug in the fidelity rosters. I think the adjusted rating really make a positive impact on the hitting results, especially when it comes to power. Thank you for continuing to grind out the numbers for us year after year!

Thank you. They are amazing rosters.

I know you were always a zone and meter guy...are you switching over to the other side? LOL

I still gotta go zone just because i enjoy the hitting control that comes with it. I was pinpoint pitching the last several years but going to switch back to meter or maybe classic to try to persuade a few more walks. Pinpoint is just a bit too overpowering.
