When you go to the Substitution screen, drag one or two of your relievers to the two boxes underneath your starter. From there they will warm-up. Watch out, though, because they may become tired if you leave them there too long. Whenever you're ready to bring them in, just drag that name up above to the pitcher slot.

I found the substitution screen after I posted, I appreciate it, though!Comment

When I get my new computer in, I'm going to get this game for the first time, I've been watching YouTube videos of the game but I do have one question if anyone knows. For international amateur free agents, do you have to have the international leagues in your save? If that makes sense.Comment

You don't. They'll pop up during the season during International FA period.Comment

Re: ***The Official OOTP Thread***
I was wondering if I started a historical dynasty in 1871 will the real players and minor league teams come in the years that they did in real life? I know that ootp 17 (which I have) does this but I don't know how to set it up, can anyone give a newbie some tips, this is my first foray into a solo league where I usually play online but I wanted to take a break, so any help would be greatly appreciatedMadden 18Kansas City ChiefsYr 1 (0-0) Pre-Season (0-1)

Re: ***The Official OOTP Thread***
Just got to the end of May with my White Sox current day franchise. I am 33-22 and in 2nd in the AL Central, battling it out with the Tigers, who I am currently playing for the first time all year (at the end of May!?).
Have had some injury issues to manage, including Adam Eaton missing 3 weeks in April, and Todd Frazier in the middle of being out for 2 months. Both Jimmy Rollins and Tyler Saladino were underperforming massively at SS so I called up one of the Sox top prospects in SS Tim Anderson, who has been an improvement over those 2 so far. (Actually put Rollins on Waivers).
I've also discovered a possible surprising CF, as Jacob May, from AAA (who replaced Eaton when hurt), wound up hitting .280 and is fast as all hell...so when Eaton came off the DL, I kept May up (and demoted JB Shuck, who is terrible)...and am now platooning May with Austin Jackson in CF.
Jose Quintana is amazing, Chris Sale is good, and Mat Latos is pitching well enough that I extended him for 2 years at what I think was a pretty solid deal (got him for less than he was asking, at least).
I've been disappointed in Carlos Rodon, who although has had some good starts, but is walking too many guys and is having trouble getting out of the 5's for ERA (mostly because he doesn't last beyond the 5th inning even if he only gave up 2 or 3 runs).
I'm also at my wits end with John Danks, but not sure a minor league starter would be an improvement...so Danks is just an innings eater at this point.
Bullpen has been solid at the back end but has some problems in the middle, have waived 2 guys already (Albers and Duke), and signed Tyler Lyons (STL) off Waivers as a long reliever and am going to call up a young reliever from AAA to replace Duke when he clears Waivers.
Have my first ever draft coming up...has anyone done that yet? Any advice?
This game is truly amazing, I'm so glad I decided to try it this year.Teams:

Can some good sir tell me the contact and power rating for Gary Roenicke in 1982? Or OOTP's equivalent to those ratings if it doesn't use contact and power.OSFM23 - Building Better Baseball - OSFM23
