Re: High Heat 2004 Anything & Everything Thread
Okay, I just reinstalled HH2k4 the replaced the HH folder with the backup folder from my backup drive.
Played a game at "Montreal" and it had the "W" logo and the announcer said "Welcome to the game against the Anaheim Angels and Washington National".
All I've got to do is figure out which sound file is the one I have to upload.
I'll install DangerZs editor and open up all the sound files and see which one it is.Comment

Re: High Heat 2004 Anything & Everything Thread
Hey fellas,
Just a quick note. I've settled into a nice season. I've got my sliders pretty well set and am happy with the results I'm getting. I've got everything at default except Hitting - both at 3, power -both at 8 Foul balls 6, Pitch count at 4 and pitch control at 6. Pitch speed is 7. I'm seeing lots of hit variety. Still not many homers, but alot of doubles. With Pitch count at 4, they are swinging at more pitches out of the zone. I'm not seeing as many of those annoying flairs, either. The CPU's hits are solid.
I saw the posts about saving on PS2. There really is no way to save separate files. There is no option file per se that you can load It's like you can save one thing. I guess a work around is to save each particular thing to separate memory cards and load as you go, but that is pretty bulky.
As far as my season goes, I'm 2-3, 2 games out of first. Long way to go.

Re: High Heat 2004 Anything & Everything Thread
Anybody know a way to adjust some of the settings permanently? For example, I always have to change the "Game Pace" to "Fast" before every game and turn off "Ball Trails" in the in-game menu. Is there anyway to change these in a file? I didn't see them in the Tune file.
This is for HH2004.Comment

Re: High Heat 2004 Anything & Everything Thread
Hello all,
I have some questions reguarding HH? First off I don't mind about the older stadiums in the game.
But what I did want to ask was this........
1- Is there a Fantasy Draft in the game? ( Am I able to make my own guy up )
2- And from reading the boards how difficult is the pitching?
See I am holding off on this years 2K baseball so I need something to play. Something to fill my baseball void.
I also read that HH DID have downloadable roster updates. BUT THAT was a long time ago. And I hate to admit this, but I NEVER bought the on-line package ever for my x-box. Never through the 12 years or so of playing it. I know I may have missed added gaming content, updated roster's, or even playing you clowns on-line. I DO have it now for my 360.
Here is something else I was wondering? I know Puja21 did a NEW roster update for 2K football. He put tons of work into it. I actually bought a working x-box again and action replay so I could copy his fine work. So my question is, is there anyone out there that may have done this too? I have never played HH. So I don't know anything about how the roster's look.
Like always I will wait for your responses, and thank you.Comment

Re: High Heat 2004 Anything & Everything Thread
1-Yes, there is fantasy draft. I was able to make up my alter-ego by taking a real life player (preferrably a scrub) and change his description and attribute to my liking.
2-Pitching control is way, way easy. Your ability to hit your spot depends on the control rating of that particular pitcher. Like real life, you may hit your spot maybe 60% of the time.Comment

Re: High Heat 2004 Anything & Everything Thread
While doing some spring cleaning I discovered that I still had the 2004, 2002, 2001, and 1999 versions of High Heat for the PC. I installed 2004 and it runs just fine.
What I'm wondering is if there is a way to generate fictional rosters. I thought High Heat had this as an option, but I can't find a way to do it. Was this ever an option in High Heat games?Comment

Re: High Heat 2004 Anything & Everything Thread
I can't get it to work! It keeps telling me to put the cd in the drive when it is already. I have it installed and everything passed the min. requirements. A dvd drive will play a cd rom game correct? I can't figure out how to get it to run.Comment

Re: High Heat 2004 Anything & Everything Thread
I would like to give it a whirl once again on the pc. However, if memory serves me correctly there were some franchise killing bugs. The only one I can remember was the lack of player fatigue (every player could play every game w/o getting tired).
Can anyone confirm this and list any other major bugs they are aware of?
Thanks!Comment
