Re: Official Wishlist for ASB 2006

Fix the ability to change players ratings, without the players health going bad.

Or at the very least, allow us to be able to change a player's health rating in the player editor.
For those who want a more realistic game, this option should have been in the player editor to begin with.

Re: Official Wishlist for ASB 2006

Fix these things and this is the best game out next year:

      1. more throwing animations
      2. total control over replays(best stadiums in the business, I would like to see any part of it I want)
      3. option to remove rotating circle fielding aid and dot on the wall, I need more suspense on long fly balls
      4. vacuum catches(this is as bad as last year)
      5. crouch(this is as bad as last year also)
      6. runners running out all groundballs
      7. make fielder turn around and jog back to his position if there is no chance to make a play at the wall, whether it be the outfield wall or foul territory, nobody runs in place at the wall.

I have'nt played MVP in two weeks, thats how long I've had ASB, I like this game. Fix the above and this will be hands down the bset game to offer.

As an online baseball league commissioner...

            1. Choice of rosters to use online, including Custom (identical to MS' implementation on Inside Pitch and Inside Drive)

            2. Choice of fielding camera, obviously. And if it's ever an issue of only being able to include one versus the others, go with the most proven, 'boring' camera angle, please!

            As a solo gamer...

            1. Continue to improve AI baserunning.

            2. If I'm not mistaken, it appears that if I set the infield to DP Depth, then throw to first, the fielders reset to their default location, necessitating another use of the Left Trigger to switch locations again. If nobody has advanced or been thrown out, the infielders should go back to where they were told originally.

Faster, more fluid mo-caps in fielding would solve a lot of things. Too many infield hits in this game.

we were told there are home run celebraions in the game... where are they??? what are they.. what players do them.. and if you hit one with one of them.. do you get to see it??? hmmm... do you???

other than that right now im loving the game.

i think that you should be able to see each and every players reaction to hitting his homer computer or human controlled... that would be cool and pitcher reactions to those hr's. just put in a bypass button push for those that wouldnt like to see it.

3b coaches giving signs to the batters.. they may have no real meaning but they would look cool

oh and lastly... I WANT TO KNOW HOW FAR MY HOMER ARE BEING HIT!!!!!!!!

IninO and michaeldu said much of what I'm thinking, but the one thing I'm really surprised about is the apparent lack of interest in full minor league rosters and playable minor league teams. I, for one, LOVE the hands-on ability to control the future of my MLB team in MVP, and think that EA did a fantastic job of designing believable (if somewhat generic and sterile) minor league parks. The crowd atmosphere was really good too. I live in a AAA city (Indianapolis), and really appreciate the inclusion of the minors. Maybe I'm in the minority, but I'd like to see Acclaim take a swipe at this. It would only add to the realism already built in with things like player options, fatigue, arbitration, 10-5, Rule 5, etc.

Gotta get smoother animations, though. Overhauling pitching was something I heard a designer discuss for next year, and that couldn't hurt either.
