Also, we have found that it is easier to read speed differences and curveballs the more top-down the view is.

It's a shame though to not show off these redone stadiums. Hopefully you can adjust the camera slightly downwards. I could care less seeing the crowd at all, I would be ok if they were pixels if it would help the framerate and more of the stadium can be seen. Anything seen would be better than the MLB Logo every half inning for ten seconds.

    1. Need a really top-notch 3D crowd if they will be in such a prominent view.
    2. We think its better suited / makes more sense with a true-to-life 3D pitching/batting scheme, rather than the retro-style, basically 2D pitching/hitting scheme that is RBI.

Remember - RBI Baseball never had a behind pitcher view, so I don't blame them for not including it.

Has there ever been any discussion on taking this game the "extra mile" or do you think it will remain primarily retro style pick up and play type of game?

RBI Baseball 18 surprised me this year in a good way I think that if the game developers put in some player edit options, and smooth out fielding animations and put in a behind the pitcher views and a batters fish eye view it will indeed be a respectable sport title for the XBOX....

I would assume by bringing it in house and having a 30 man team I feel like there appears to be a progression of the title. Will it ever be the Show? Probably not. But it appears to being a fun alternate.

Ah OK, appreciate the response. Hopefully that's something that could be addressed next year with more time.

Another wish I had for your game was a new mode in the vein of the old High Heat 2-on-2 Showdown or MLB The Show's old King of Diamonds mode. I think a game mode like that would be a nice fit for RBI.

And any chance for an option of shorter season length, like 30 games or so instead of 52?

                Thanks again.

Wonder if iOS version will be worth it this year. Looks to have all the features the console version does.

Thanks for taking the time to answer the questions.

Do you think that in the near future, that there might be another game (3D/sim) in development by you guys along with RBI Baseball? I think that would be awesome and meet the “needs” of both types of gamers?

Btw, I am looking forward to playing RBI 18. I ordered it, but I’m still waiting for it’s arrival from the US. From what I’ve seen, it looks like you guys put a lot of effort into developing this game.

                        Hi,

Sorry for a stupid question. How do I insert an updated roster into a current franchise?

When I put the game on it says an updated roster is available. I download it. When I go into my franchise it says load roster or get new roster with LB/RB Buttons. Then takes me to a ad to by XBOX Gold. I do not see anything about importing rosters. Please give me a high level walk thru.

Also, what happens if a player is on the DL in your franchise and the updated roster in imported? Is that player automatically reinstated from the DL?

                        Thanks!

I will say this game is either challenging or cheating. I was up as STL over MIL 7-0 after 4 innings. Ozuna was 4-5 with 3 HRs in the game. Thought I was cruising to a win. WRONG!

MIL scored 5 in the 5th and 5 in the 8th to win 10-7. I am playing on "Easy" level. Well, at least I won't ever think this game is too easy I guess.

Haha, this happened to me last night on medium.

                              I was up 6-0 through 3, 6-4 through 8, and lose 8 to 6 in the 9th with Knabel pitching. 2 2 run homers in the 9th.

Glad I'm not the only one.

Yep, it's buggy and the controls aren't great- I'm having to look down way too much, it's kinda fun though. It has me just a bit curious about the console version.
