Re: MLB 2K5 WS Edition Impressions Thread
Well, I'm not seeing it in the Classic mode for the CPU. Runner on first, one out, pitcher up, no bunt. Doesn't necessarily mean it won't happen, but I'm trying to set up situations and so far, no dice.
True Baseball. What the heck is that. I saw it in the last game, but never tried it.Comment

Had the firstbaseman field a ball and there was no delay on an underhanded toss to the pitcher covering first. It looked faster because last edition it seemed very slow.“The saddest part of life is when someone who gave you your best memories becomes a memory”Comment

Re: MLB 2K5 WS Edition Impressions Thread
I'm going to get this version as well....I enjoyed the last edition like some of you guys here...But I want to know if the player fatigue is fixed, that is the only issue I had a problem with 2k5. MLB 2K4 had this feature and it was fun. I remember I had to bench my position players from time to time that were tired. I hope this is fixed....thanks ErnestoComment

I tried to look for a ROSTER save from the last edition and don't see where it recognizes it, however, it does recognize any custom music you had in your hard drive.“The saddest part of life is when someone who gave you your best memories becomes a memory”Comment

Re: MLB 2K5 WS Edition Impressions Thread
Okay, confused here.
True baseball, or True Aim, or Pure Baseball?
I went to Pure Baseball and set up a lead off single and no bunt.
I had been playing on True Aim and got nothing, but will stick with it.
Can you confirm which on it is?
Regarding the franchise fatigue. I never played franchise, just season. Would I be able to see fatigue if I simmed games?Comment

True Aim is the non-cursored batting style (just like hitting the button & swinging).. then there is cursored batting.... Pure Baseball essentially is the "non-arcadic" setting (showboat catches, etc).. so far on True Baseball/True Aim setting i have seen two bunts in the two games i played..Comment

Re: MLB 2K5 WS Edition Impressions Thread
I just hit a dribbler down third and the pitcher didn't get the ball. The third baseman stepped up to get the ball and throw to first. I ended up being safe but he made the play and not the pitcher. I believe this was an issue some of you have posted earlier.Comment

That's why I said there's no rush - because you'll actually have to play a game to find out if it's working.Comment

Originally posted by NEWYORICANYes Bcruise, MVP did nail it with the fatigue...a great baseball game too!!...I love all the baseball games!!!, each have their unigue differences...I'm from the old school of Earl Weaver Baseball(Amiga)/Tony Larussa Days!...and I loved those games. Boy, these BB games of today are so advance now!!...I'm just glad I'm still alive to enjoy them!!!!...thanks Bcruise!!, Regards Ernesto
But I'm getting off topic here...2k5 WSE CAN be as good, if the bugs are fixed. I had some great games on 2k5, but it's just marred by a few bugs that kill the franchise aspect (and the passed ball thing, although changing the error slider effectively eliminated it).
I appreciate all those giving early impressions and answering questions.Comment
