Hulkster,
So you're confirming that there IS bunting in True Aim (just swing to make contact), as this was definitely NOT in the this mode last year. I haven't seen it yet, however, I might not have the correct in game situation set up yet either, so it could just be me.
If that's correct, this is a big improvement because I was frustrated by no bunting, went to KZone and saw bunting, but wasn't happy with the ball winding up in the middle of the plate when you missed your pitch.
Anybody else hear this. I have custom player music on my harddrive, but no music assigned to any player. I noticed that everytime a home team player came up I heard the gong in Hells Bells (Hoffmans walk on). Every home batter. So I went to assign some custom music and saw that ever player on every roster had Hells Bells as his walk up music.
That would mean I'd have to do every player on every team or they would all have Hells Bells walk up (of course I don't need to have custom music, but it appears this is a bug).Comment

Pure Baseball essentially is the "non-arcadic" setting (showboat catches, etc).. so far on True Baseball/True Aim setting i have seen two bunts in the two games i played..Comment

would k-zone be if you used cross hair style pitching?Comment

This is from an earlier post I had made over the weekend that could help explain this release.
"Companies in the past when their games have gone to greatest hits or platinum status have fixed bugs in their game upon re-release. I remember
Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex
They fixed the extemely long load times, framerate issues, and a few other known bugs for the greatest hits version on the PS2. IGN was the only site that had reported the news initially.
I am looking at this version of MLB2K5: WSE the same as CB:WOC. It gives
2KSports the opportunity to fix the game as if it were being released as part of the Greatest Hits and Platinum lines. Since we know sports games aren't released again under these labels than we just need to treat this game the same way.
I take it as 2K is giving us 2 new modes, 2K Presentation replacing ESPN, Updated Rosters, a MLB DVD, and fixing most of the bugs. I would consider this as a Greatest Hits re-release to fix the problems and update the game."
Inckil was saying that I was off with my theory above. I've been reading these impressions every single one. Doesn't my theory sound more like what
2Ksports did this year?Comment
