I deleted the two roster mlb files is that all I am suppose to have? and Do I do all that while I put the game in or do that before I put the game in? Sorry...I am not fully grasping the part about holding A down and getting a logo.

Before you load your game, while your XBL dashboard is on the screen, go to memory. In the memory select your HDD. Find your MLB Files & delete them all.

After you do that, power down your 360 via the guide button. Wait 30 seconds. The power-up your system using the guide button, while your sytem is powering-up(before the 360 logo appears on your display) hold the "A" BUTTON down until you see the 1st Take-2 & 2k sports logo woith the wording @ the bottom. When that screen dissapears, let go off the "A" button.

Do Not create a VIP whn asked. Now try & play a game & see what happens. Hopefully you understand what I'm saying

Well My bro is now playing the game and decided to create a VIP Profile...Well he did and now he has played 5 Full Innings...."Knock On Wood"

BIGFNJOE... I TOO, have been one of the lucky ones to not experience a single freeze since launch. I do suffer from swing lag 1/2 the time (yes, tried low NO zoom) ,however. Has the patch eliminated this IYO? Has the patch limited the OF arms a bit?

I use the Swing Stick so I can't say if that lag during Classic Hitting is still there. As for the outfielder arms STILL THERE...

Thanks for the heads up, I TOO use the swing stick. It seems like lag happens when a runner is on 2nd? Maybe my imagination? I'll try the patch & see...

I didn't clear the cache, but I did delete my VIP before playing and I was getting tons of freezes. After I deleted I created a new VIP and started a new franchise and haven't gotten any freezes. I never played classic swing before, but it feels very responsive to me.. fielding is a mixed bag.. at times I think its better and then something stupid happens that makes me realize its stil quite sluggish. I still get severe framerate drops, mainly right before fielders catch the ball after throws from other fielders. Diving still seems near impossible, but maybe I just haven't gotten the hang of it..

I am not sure if I am going to keep this game (gameflying it at the moment) I have MLB the show and that game just feels better ( I just purchased it yesterday) I'll give this game a few weeks of solid play and tweaking, but I have a feeling its going to end up going back to gamefly..

Well, First time...I didn't create a VIP...Now I deleted all the NBA 2K stuff and then deleted the MLB roster files from the HDD. Then loaded the game back up and created a VIP profile....

Now my brother has played a full 9 inning game and lost 3-2 to the CWS...He was the Angels..He had 13 hits and gave up 8 hits. No extra base hits given up in the game....He also had 2 HRs with GA.

There are so many variables to consider when it comes to freezing/no freezing, good framerate/poor framrate ect that it isn't easy to come up with a single soiution for these problems other than fixing the press of the game and alllowing anyone with a broken copy to return it and get a game that is bug free and fixed WITHOUT A PATCH.

well played 2 good games back to back and then started the 3rd got in the 5 inning and I got the dreaded freeze

After downloading the patch..I played two games & both times the game went black inbetween innings..Before the patch I only had one freeze in two weeks of playing the game..VC can go to hell for all I'm concerned..They get a big **** you..

Truth delete all MLB Files. After you delete all your MLB files from the HDD(via the XBL Dashboard). Power-down your system. (via the guide button) Wait about 30 seconds. The use your giude button to power-up your 360. While your 360 is powering-up hold the "A" button down until you see the Take-2, 2K Sorts logo's with the writting @ the bottom. When you see this let-go off the "A" BUTTON.

This wil clear your cache. After that let the game load & see what happens. Last thing don't create a VIP when asked.

I like I said everything was working smoothly after 2 games..then the 3rd comes around and freezes...I have tried to follow what you said, but for some reason it's not working. So, I gather I am miss understanding something here? Also I just looked and I didn't create a VIP this game, but yet there is one created...so does the cpu if you will create one by its self? Because it seems to get created when you do online to download the rosters.

I personally am in the same boat as you, granted Ive only played about 10 games but not one single freeze and I will be passing on the update until it is my last option. Only thing is that when I start the 360 up I always hold down the "A" button to clear the cache, not sure if this is what is allowing me to get through games without a problem but to this point it has worked everytime for me.

For the 48 millionth time, Kush Games develops this game, NOT Visual Concepts.

On topic: I haven't downloaded the patch, and to be honest, I'm still ont he fence about even keeping the game. I think it may be too late to return it, but since there's really nothing else out that I wanna get, there's no reason to trade it in just yet.

People are saying it fixes the freezing, some say it doesn't, yada yada, and frankly, I don't even know if I wanna bother anymore.
