I had a similar thing happen during pitching practice. After a hit, the catcher would set up for the next pitch in front of the plate..actually in front of the circle, basically on the grass. It only happened when I tried to rush through the mode and skip the fluff and get right to the next pitch.

Hit by pitch... errr... pitches.
Just to see if I would get thrown out, I hit a couple of batters in a row... nothing happened, not even a warning... well, twenty-fours (24!!!) hitsmen later, my pitcher was still in the game... GIVE ME A F-ING BREAK! you call this realism???Comment

Re: ***Official Bugs/Glitches Thread***
Depending on the pitcher, I've noticed A LOT of incorrect pitches being thrown. Most often it's curveballs being thrown instead of fastballs and vice versa.
Sure, you can try blaming that on me not doing the right stick action correctly, but since they dumbed down the controls and dumped the after-pitch display of your action and how effective it is, it's impossible to know one way or the other.
What I DO know is that using AJ Burnett, I tried throwing a handful of knuckle curves that ended up being high fastballs. It's like the second motion doesn't matter at all, if I'm a hair too close to straight down, it doesn't matter that the second action sweeps all the way around the range of motion, it's still going to be high heat.Comment

Bug on the PC version; controller button mapping...you need an advanced degree in quantum physics to figure out why there are 2 profiles before you even create one of your own, that the Xbox360 wireless and Logitech Dual Rumblepad 2 cannot be programmed with sustained regularity because the default configuration is keyboard. An absolute disgrace.Comment

Re: ***Official Bugs/Glitches Thread***
Well I just ran into a problem on the 360 that might ruin the entire game for me. Four games into my Detroit Tigers franchise, I go to load the franchise, it says "successfully loaded franchise from hard drive", I hit OK, but it remains frozen at the same screen. No matter what button I push, it stays at the loading screen. So my franchise is lost....and this has happened TWICE. Has this happened to anyone else?!Teams I Live and Die with:

Not perfect, but it's a viable workaround.
Not sure about the Logitech pads though.Comment

Re: ***Official Bugs/Glitches Thread***
Has anyone got the one where if it's 0-2 and the baserunner goes, the catcher automatically drops strike three and then does a weak auto throw to the base being stolen, therefore resulting on the strikeout being null and an out not being recorded?Comment

Re: ***Official Bugs/Glitches Thread***
A few of the things that bother me:
Stat lines under player names, Chipper went 0-4 one day and the next day under his name is says he has a 17 game hitting streak.....
lots of false stats like that. will randomly say a player was 12th in doubles last year when we wasn't even close....
a player get's injured and NEVER recovers. it's a day past when he should be fine and every day they say he is injured still. he never seems to recover, ever.....
just a few.....Comment

Re: ***Official Bugs/Glitches Thread***
this is not a bug or glitch but i was told to post it in here. It is just a uniform mistake. The phillies don't wear the blue batting helmet with the red bill when they were the alternate uniform here a link to a picture of the Pat Burrell in the alternate uniform http://www.philliestickets.net/img/pat.jpg <!-- / message -->E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES
