Re: Creating **The 'PERFECT' Slider Set**
Psycho,
Due to external commitments in my personal life I have not been able to touch the game between early summer and this week, but after loading up a few games with the most recent slider set that's been posted, I wanted to tell you that I am really impressed with where you were able to take the original set to. This game plays really well now (post patch) and a lot of credit goes to all the adjustments you have made throughout the summer. A job well done!
Most of the credit is yours for the original set, i just tweaked from there, so dont downplay your own role, much more key than mine!
Yeah i would say im done now with 2K7 slider tweaking and have it as good as can be, and will now be sticking with these all the way until 2K8.
Thanks againComment

Re: Creating **The 'PERFECT' Slider Set**
Ok folks, the FINAL set of "perfect sliders" is now here. I get every sort of game imaginable now with these, blowouts, pitchers duels, tight games, everything. Fatigue is perfect as long as you pitch realistically and throw balls as well as strikes, i do and get lots of K's on balls. Power is also spot on (these are for classic hitting) but with the CPU power on 60 beware bad pitches will get punished, so be careful.
Through approx 100 games with these sliders im hitting .283 and have an ERA of 4.72, so not far off just what i expect.
Be prepared to give these time and play lots of games to see the full variety, please dont be so naive as to judge them on 2 or 3 games.
Props to NNNG for originally designing this set, ive merely added on to his excellent work.
Enjoy.

Again, off, otherwise that changes the sliders all the time without the user being able to see whats affected.Comment

Re: Creating **The 'PERFECT' Slider Set**
I lowered human fatigue to 30 or 25 (can't remember which). I couldn't get out of the fifth inning with Hudson or Smoltz with it at 35, so I lowered it a bit. Now normally those guys can go about 90 pitches, more if I stretch them. I have a really strong bullpen though, so I haven't been able to test them longer.Comment

Re: Creating **The 'PERFECT' Slider Set**
He uses the payoff, I agree that zone really isnt more realistice cause with zone you either get a strike or its a meat pitch and since these sliders punish you if you thro too many strikes it really is perfect. Dont go below 35 fatigue its unrealistic if u do.Comment
