Does batter influence tend to cause hitters to pull or take the ball to opposite field more? I'm finding so many of my hits are up the middle and I'm looking for some more variation without having to hit the directional pad while hitting.

Yep id say it has, getting a lot more line drives and pulls with these now.

Doesnt matter as it switches straight to custom fella.

One more question as I have yet to input the sliders yet, plays o.k. out of box so far...are these sliders on pg 51 changes and updates from pg 1 of this thread? Or completely different?

The latest ones i put on there is modifications (a lot of) of the original set by nnng. Go with my latest ones.

You need to pitch better then fella (please dont take that as patronising, its not meant to be). Walk some guys, dont be afraid to throw balls. Like i say a few posts back, these sliders are very unforgiving if you get it wrong.

Wow. These are great settings nnng07. I might have to bump up the difficulty from allstar but this plays a good game of baseball. With these settings i can move away from my PSP and the show. I'm in my 8th game now and im old fashion and dedicated to keep El Duke in the game until the 12th inning with 27% fatigue to strike out 12 batters.

In another game i struck out 14! batters with John Maine in 9 innings. Someone showed me how to use the swing stick correctly and now and working the count and leading the NL with 7 HR's with Delgado. .400 average with Reyes and 8 stolen bases to the point were the AI waits about 10 secs before pitching when he is on base LOL...that makes me laugh a lot. Pujols is a jerk and hit to HR's in one game but that was the only runs produced by the cards and i scored 6.

Great sliders after 8 games. This will kill some time until NBA 2k8.

threw a fastball down the middle every pitch for 3 innings. Only gave up 2 Runs, struck out 3. These sliders were good until i did that, made me realize pitch location doesnt really matter. I supose it could just be crappy AI play that is out of the sliders control.

Due to external commitments in my personal life I have not been able to touch the game between early summer and this week, but after loading up a few games with the most recent slider set that's been posted, I wanted to tell you that I am really impressed with where you were able to take the original set to. This game plays really well now (post patch) and a lot of credit goes to all the adjustments you have made throughout the summer. A job well done!
