Yep, outfield speed is too slow. I had a few triples myself, and some were ones that the CPU should have been able to get to.

Other than that, I like these. I think my offense is a little too good. I'm going to give it at least 2 more games before I change them though. I won as the Red Sox using Beckett 8-1 against the Angels and Lackey. I'll use a more average pitcher next game.

Outfield speed is way too slow. I had about three triples by the opponent. And Posada got a double on a high pop-up to centerfield.

I'm not seeing it, but if you are, change the slider to something more effective for you. BTW I dropped the Pitcher Difficulty to 50. Just couldn't get much hits with it @ 80

AI pitcher change speed at 0? you want only fastballs?

The Pitcher will still change speeds trust me.

I create these with Swing Stick in mind, but if you like give them a shot using classio & see how they work..

BTW what fan e-mail are you talking about?

During franchise in the game you get a crazed fan e-mail and some of the top people on this site are listed on it, i remember this has happened the last 2 years also, ur name is on it

ha ha....I think i may use alot of your sliders from last years game too, seems like alot are the same issues ya know.....although last year i used user contact-25 and power-0....should prolly bump them a bit this year huh lol..... And i think the CPU skill prolly high like 90-100 again is smart with contact at like 70 and power prolly 40-50 like usual

They are working great so far, the only thing I changed was the pitcher fatigue because I can't control the effort when a runner is on base.

Hey Joe,
I'm just wondering....are you able to "work the count?" I seen earlier you mentioned that you don't get many walks....but is this attributed to not being patient at the plate,or just the fact the cpu still throws to many strikes.

The CPU is just throwing strikes. More strikes than balls from what I've seen. About 70/30. I'm really believing this is a rating problem that can't be fixed by sliders, even with them all @ 0

Hey Man..

I just wanted to let you know that your work is very much appreciated. Though I have not tried these sliders yet, your 2K7 sliders were fantastic. For me it is all about realism and your sliders are always usually on key. Keep up the good work and I have only one quesiton in mind and that is how close are these percentage wise to being considered using them all franchise long or are your going to be making updates? I know it is early to tell but I was wondering.

Thanks for the info. I was hoping it wouldn't be rating's based.
Hopefully this might be able to be addressed when they issue the framerate patch.

Just a thought...edit your main post with the new numbers. Having to search thru an entire post for updated/changed settings is annoying.

Alright I might have another theory on why were not seeing enough balls & walks. I'm hoping to test something out. It might require this set of sliders to be changed. We'll actually not all the sliders, just the setting...

I'll be back with my findings..

EDIT: Scratch that. Still no luck with walks argh.........
