My only complaint right now after three games is all the CPU points came on homers, I turned to down the power and raised the contact so maybe that will work.

Me and my brother are playing using your newest sliders and we simply cannot get any good contact on the ball. We average 5 hits a game and that is clearly not realistic. Any slider adjustments we can make?

Looks real good. Out of curiosity...what sliders are you using? If you've mentioned this already I apologize.

I'm using BFJ All-Star sliders, except I'm using classic swing, and I have tone down the pitch speed a little (so that I can recognize the balls).

Thanks for the sliders BFJ. I've been using your 2k sliders for the last few years and they're always great.

Something I've noticed with the CPU throwing balls and maybe some of you can test this too, is that if you put the all the CPU throw strike sliders to 1 or 2 instead of 0 you will see more balls thrown by the CPU pitcher. I've tested this the past two evenings and unless I am just crazy the pitcher will throw more balls with the settings at 1 or 2. It may just be me and the different pitchers I am facing but if anyone else would like to test it I would like to read your results. I have also set the CPU pitch to corners at 1 or 2 as well. Not sure yet if this makes any difference though.

I'm really only testing pitches here, so I havent changed much for sliders not counting that, but on default All-star steal settings, I have no problem at all stealing with top base stealers.

In fact, it's too easy. The CPU just gives me way too big of a jump! You can hit the left trigger three times to get a big lead. Then, just as soon as you see the pitcher make any twitch, hold up on LS and hit Y.

2nd is yours with a fast player. 3rd isn't much tougher. My only problem is, I need to find that thread that had the slide directions on it.

We'll everyone after all the madness it finally took this thread & not being able to sleep to realize what I was doing wrong.

After seeing this title of this thread I jumped in because what he was seeing I was seeing also. So as you have read, this is the reason why the sliders got all wacky. The SLIDERS are based by Starting Point & certain SLIDERS when moved too FAR LEFT or too FAR RIGHT automatically cause all the other sliders to default to the next LOWEST setting...

I tested this out & BAM it happened. So I went slider to slider testing this. After finding out which Sliders cause them to default I lowered or moved higher that slider 1 by 1 until it changed. Once I got to it's highest or lowest point I stopped.

I tested this in LEGEND & the game was amazing. I didn't touch any of the Batting Sliders & the game seemed good. I also saw some walks & realistic pitch counts for the CPU. YES I was able to LOWER ALL the AI Throw Strike Sliders without causing all the other Sliders to go WHACKY...

Now that I have comfirmed this I will be creating a NEW SET of Sliders for the community. I'm hoping to have something ready by the end of the weekend..

UPDATE: Played 2 more games on LEGEND & working the count is there. Played against Santana & Halladay. Was able get him to tired after 6 innings. I'm still fooling around with the AI Throw Strikes Slider as I was seeing the walks still. Also hitting HR's is basically non-existent for the USER in LEGEND. Why, because the minute you move that POWER Slider 1 click the SLIDERS default to All-Star

Again If your gonna try this, I suggest once you move a slider before you move to the next double check @ the top of that slider section & make sure you see CUSTOM & whatever setting you started @) If it's move to the next lowest setting move that slider back until your settings return to where they were....

Ya, the sliders are really crazy so far. For example, when I first just left things on default and changed the pitcher sliders I walked 6 times in the game and had the starting pitcher throw 90+ in 7 innings. I didn't touch the AI hitter sliders and threw over 100+ myself. Then I change the AI hitters sliders and all of the sudden the CPU throws nothing but strikes and swings at everything.

This is exactly what's happened to me. I wasn't even having the balls/strikes issue until I started messing with the sliders. Now all I'm seeing is strikes. Totally bizarre.

Right now I'm going to take the sliders from the first page and play a few exhibition games and see what happens.

OK with my findings I have re-done some of the sliders. I'm sorry but unfortunately everyone who uses these will have to RESET the SLIDERS (RB Button) & then begin adjusting again..

VERY IMORTANT: Make sure before you leave each Slider Section you check the top & make sure it says CUSTOM-A before you move-on If for some reason it doesn't you moved a Slider that wasn't supposed to be moved. You MUST find that Slider re-adjust it until you see CUSTOM-A back @ the top.

Be careful with the AI infielder and outfielder speed. Those two will reset if you go too low with them. Does anyone know if you still get achievements with these custom sliders since they are based on allstar difficulty?

This is a dumb question but like you know how some of your sliders are like 25 50 etc... how do you know were to stop or keep going since there is no number to tell you where your at. thanks for the help

I used all your sliders cept I left the IF/OF speed and reaction time the same. They seemed okay to me so I don't want to touch 'em yet.

I'm playing a 7-game series, Yanks vs. Boston. Game 1 was great, I lost 9-6 and didn't hit a single HR (they hit three though). Wang got roughed up for 4 first inning runs (I was aiming his sinker too high) but then really settled down.

I got it to 6-5 in the 7th and brought in Farnsworth for one inning and that was a mistake, I was down 9-5 before I could blink.

The game was awesome, these sliders work perfectly for the swing stick (which I've decided to stick w. after a brief go around w. classic) and I could really tell when I was connecting with a pitch. It was very rewarding and certainly fun as hell!

The only thing I might tweak is the CPU power, they were hitting balls a little too far on low-and-away pitches that they swung it w. just their upper body. JD Drew even hit one over the monster w. just his arms. Not saying it's impossible, but I have feeling it'll be happening too much if I don't tweak their power a little.

Great first set though, I'm almost ready to start my 'chise!

I cannot get your AI settings to ever stay custom-A. It will always reset to custom-p. Also it seems that you want to raise any sliders up first that need to go higher before you lower. (Sorry if any of this has been posted before, I haven't had a chance to read the whole thread).

EDIT: I checked it doesn't apply to the AI Fielder Sliders. Only to the Human Fielder Sliders.. As for achievements, you should be able to get achievements as lon as your VIP is loaded

I've got everything set except for general AI settings. Whenever I go to tweak it, something happens and it gets reset to custom-p. There's some magic order that you have used because I can't seem to do it ever. I've tried setting all the stuff that goes higher first and then adjust some things backward but that didn't work. Weird stuff. I'll keep messing with it.
