OK, sliders have been updates. You will not see a lot of offense with these. If you want a little more offense I suggest you up the Contact Slider & nothing else or else your gonna get slug-fest on your hands.

I also updated the AI Pitching Sliders. You should see a lot more foul balls with these..

Are people seeing a large amount of Balls & Walks from the CPU? They seem a little unrealistic yet before the Patch/Living Roster Update they seemed fine..
i'm using your sliders but w/ a touch more juice on some user sliders. I played the padres and I was the dodgers during franchise. their pitch count was 113 pitches, 35 balls and 78 strikes for a 69% strike rating. I'm extremely happy with that. I only had 1 walk, but i swung on 2 full-count pitches that would have been walks and struk out. (8 total) My batting average was 212 w/ 3 singles, 2 doubles and 2 hr's (I'm getting the perfect amount since last game I didn't even get a deep flyball) my power is slightly higher than yours).

Now...I only threw 85 pitches, but I threw only 18 balls, and I got 7 k's. they only got 8 singles and 1 double off me. (game was 5-2 finish). I could easily throw more pitches and walk guys if I want...i'm not sure I do though

I'm very happy with this game and the way it's playing now...thanks for the sliders and I hope everyone else is enjoying the game.

finally a great HR replay cam!

i enjoyed these sliders after just finishing my first game... it seems like the AI are still super agressive at the plate. anything close they would put into play. my pitch count was at about 80 or so. if that could be some how fixed these sliders would be great....

i just need to learn how to get better at being patient and how to steal and i will be able to win some games lol

                Thanks Joe

I tried out the latest set of sliders you put up and I must say I was much happier with a mix of the first 2.

I just went into a 19 inning game that ended in a 1-0 loss due to random fielding glitch that caused an inside the park homerun.

I think I got maybe 2 or so balls out of the infield the entire game.

Re: "OS & BFJ" Present MLB 2K9 Spring Training Sliders

Just played my first game and used these sliders. I lost 7-1 but that's okay. Man, the computer just doesn't like to take pitches, although I can only imgaine how much worse it was before the sliders. The Mets pitchers, John Maine threw 79 pitches and 70 strikes! Now I bailed him out on a few bad swings but was also very patient until the count ran 0-2. I probably gave him 4 or 5 bad swings which still leaves 65 strikes. The Duaner Sanchez was 7-7. It's tough to see some high pitch counts.

I hope either 2K or the slider makers can continue to tweak the issue, because otherwise I had a great time with the game. It's a pretty solid game and I'm glad I bought it for now.

You should upload the revised sliders. The one with the 40 Batting Success is still the only one on your name on 2K Share.

I was going to do it for you but didnt want to step on any toes. If you want me to though, then just say so.

Yeah, these sliders are very pitcher heavy.. I will be home today, so I will tweak a little. I will fool around with the Success & Contact sliders as I think the Power Sliders are fine right now..

I'm thinking the Success Slider is the Skill Slider just renamed. In prior years the Skill Slider was somewhat like a BOOST

Joe, once again, thanks for the great slider work. Over the years the game has become more playable after you get your sliders posted. Sorry if you have posted or answered this but are you using the new 2 step pitching or last year's release timing? Have you seen any difference with batter aggressiveness between the two styles? Also, are you using cursor or total control batting? Thanks

Man I don't think any sliders are gonna help with the CPU aggressiveness.

It's not just about getting them to take strikes. They just swing at everything. If they only fixed this issue I was be perfectly happy with this game.

At this point I'm not even noticing the sliders impacting much at all. But I haven't' played enough to come to any conclusions.

Jistic, have you tried using Inside Edge along with K-Zone -ON when pitching? I found that when I use-it I get some pretty good results. Including getting the AI to take some pitches in the strike-zone.

I've really only been using the NEW 2 step Hold & Gesture System. As for Hitting I'm using Total Control Batting with both Zone & Batter's Eye OFF
