I put that Slider back to 10, but bumped-up the AI pitch Success Slider to 75. Now the Batter/Pitcher battles feel better including more foul balls

I just tried your newer set. It was a good game. I was down 4-1 in the 9th. KC(me) vs Florida. They brought in their closer. I won 5-4 on a gordon single. They had 17 hits. A bit too many... I had 6. they had 58 pitches for strikes, 16 balls. I had 71 strikes 21 balls. They had more hits obviously which lead to the higher pitch count for me. Both sides only had 4 strikeouts a piece though. SO totals were kind of low. So were power numbers. It was a fun game though. Still not great but did the trick.

Wow that's a pretty low pitch count for the CPU.

So there is basically like no way to get the CPU not to be so aggressive right? Kinda sucks, hopefully they can patch that...

the most recent sliders have def been the best so far.... i love being able to wait for a good pitch to hit instead of trying to wait and going down 2-0 everytime..... great job Joe

I tried these sliders with a game of Nats vs. Bucs(me)

I lost 7-0 :-( They had a lot of small ball, only one HR that was the only two runs Gorzo gave up. The Pirates bullpen just sucks worse than any other pen in any other game ever.

The thing seems to be pitching and batting aggressiveness. With these sliders, I drew 3 walks(and a 4th intentional walk). I also walked two batters myself.

Pitch counts were Wash. 47B 86K for 133 total and Pitt. with 37B 72K for a 109 total.

So it's getting decent. If they actually patch the wild swinging, these sliders are going to have to be WAY adjusted the other way.

Something to consider is trying to make the current game work within what we have. I can live with fewer walks and low pitch counts as long as pitcher fatigue will get pitchers into trouble after the 7th inning.

We qall want walks, but the reality is, 90% of the players are hackers. They don''t want 90 minute games.

In my online ranked game today, I got eight innings of shutout ball out of Carpenter. But the 8th might have been pushing it. His stamina was just about gone, and my pitches were clearly less effective.

So I did bring my closer in for the ninth. But if he's given up 3-5 runs, I'd like to feel like I had to get him out by the 6th or 7th.

I'm not saying your sliders need to worry about this, but it's some some food for thought. They key for me, even more than 100% statistical accuracy, is a game where we really do have to think about what kind of moves we want to make during the end game.

Pitch counts will mean nothing if stamina is not balanced. But if stamina can be tweaked, maybe pitch counts can be shelved until there is better solution. It's not perfect, but it is a step closer.

Almost the same here. I had to boost my and the AI power ratings. I played 6 games with the Mets with no homers for either side and very limited extra base hits.

So yeah... Any tips would be helpful. I still have not hit a HR yet, but I have great warning track power!

Yeah, I just need to learn how to put hits together better. I've hit singles, doubles, a triple, a few HRs...but nothing to put one nice inning together. But that last game I posted where I lost 7-0 to the Nats, the CPU pulls out a bunch of singles, a 3 run double, and a two run HR against me.

To hit HRs, with these sliders, the AI pitchers do through more balls, so you can get better counts to start to be selective in your pitches. Read his IE report, and just camp on a location and pitch he likes. If you don't get it, let it go even if it is a stick. Just wait for your pitch.

                          I just need to improve.

these are really good sliders; they have made the game better for me. it seems like they have toned down curveball a little if I don't abuse it to much.Only thing now is with these sliders I am having trouble hitting hrs. May have to up power a little. I am getting so many more foul balls now for some reason making higher pitch counts. Is this because of the lower batting sucess or lower contact slider. the only thing for me to tinker with is to get the cpu to drive in more runs. It seems like I give up hits but they can't drive them in and I get out of a lot of jams; I seem to be getting low scoring games. Do you think upping hitting sucess slider a little would help. The sliders have improved game a lot from where I was playing, thanks

Also played a game with these, and I thought it was very good. Lost 3-0, but it was an exciting tight game. I believe the CPU hit one homer. I like 'em!

What's up people.. For those who are not seeing enough hits try bumping the Contact Slider up 1 notch. Also when hitting if your using Swing Stick use the L-Stick to Influence your hits. Holding the R-Stick up helps you get the ball in the air. Time your swing & make good contact & there's a chance you can jack-1.

If your still having some problems bump the Power Slider up 1 notch. The same thing goes for the CPU up Contact & Power 1 notch.

As for Fatigue. I had it set ! 65 but the CPU was pulling their starters by the 5th inning, especially if I worked the pitcher's count some. Right now I set it back to 50. I may move-it to 55 but IMO that's about as high as I'll probably go.

I'm glad to see that moving the AI Strike Zone back to 10 is getting the AI to throw more balls again. Also glad to hear that people are seeing more foul balls also. I saw 1 walk in my last game, but could of had 2-3 more but I'm more of a hacker.

Anyone else seeing some walks? & if so are they about the same before I move the AI Pitch Success from 25 to 75
