great results with the new setting BFJ, I've already patiently draw 2 walks thru 4 innings against a mid level starting pitcher!

Joe - Why do we need to set from Legend if we download them, and they're already set? Does it have anything w/ being able to unlock cards because I noticed that w/ your sliders I got a message saying "cards are disabled", and that I need to play on a setting @ PRO or higher.

Once you download them save your profile, and save settings too.

Your right you should set them once there downloaded. You don't have to go to LEGEND... Busy work day today

I have to say, the current set is very nicely done. I'm at the top of the fourth but had to stop to make dinner. Franchise season opener, Rays at Red Sox. Beckett has struck out 4. I'm really liking the CPU's tendency to throw outside of the zone. Also, the hitting is very toned down, gving a nive rhythm to the game.

You couple the presentation of this game with these sliders and it's very enjoyable. Thanks to everyone for participating in this.

Joe one problem im noticing with the AI pitching is that they hardly ever throw you a junk ball when they are up 0-2 in the count. They throw a strike too oftne. Are you seeing this too?

Did you move the Pitch Success Slider down to 40? If you still have it set to 75 make that change. You should see more balls. Also move the AI Strike Zone down to 10 if you haven't already.

I just wanted to chip in here.

I think the HR power might be random.

I played a game yesterday with v2 settings with the Brewers vs Cubs.

2 outs and I have Braun, Fielder and Hart coming up.

I thought, what the heck, let's try this. So, all three of them hit back to back to back HR's. I had an achievement unlocked, good things come in threes. I did use the L-stick at 10:00 o'clock for the Braun and Hart and Fielder I set at 2:00 o'clock. The HR's went where they were suppose to go. Later in the game, Braun jacked one to center without the L-Stick being touched.

I'll try out the new sliders later this evening.

Good sliders, Joe, the only thing I was thinking is trying to coax more walks from human hitters. I did notice the Zambrano left in the 5th or 6th inning and I coaxed a walk from one of the relievers.

Guys I'm really busy @ work today hence why I haven't been here. Still busy but wanted to see what's going-on. As I suspected me moving the Pitch Success Slider up to 75 has cause the CPU Pitchers to throw more strikes than before.

It looks like it's also made it a little harder to generate offense. I'm thinking to compensate moving it back to either 25 or 40 & putting Pitch Zone back to 50.

As for Power, I'm getting HR's but it could it be due to using the Yanks with the settings as is. I do use the L-STICK to influence the possibility o hitting a HR, but timing it & getting good wood are important.

I think if I when I move the AI Pitch Success Slider back down people will see better results.

1 thing I forgot to mention is if you've downloaded V2 already, I forgot to change the Fatigue Setting down to 50 as in my 1st post.

For now try these settings & see if the Offense picks up:

Human Hitting: Success: 40 Contact: 40 Power: 60
AI: Success: 50 Contact 35 Power: 65

Move the AI Pitch Success Slider down to 40..

Please post results.. I don't want to update to 2k share until we have a solid set base & from the looks of it we are almost there

Just downloaded these and only have played two games:

Game one Cards 2
Pirates 0
Wainright had a complete game 6 k's and 8 hits (should have been 5 but i'm still adjusting to fielding) No home runs score the two runs early.....

Second Game Cards 0
Pirates 0 top 10th had to stop for now.
I used your V2 sliders hard to generate offense..so I'll try these tweeks that you mention and post the results....
Anyone else having freezing problems when downloading rosters from 2k share?

roadman, if you want to work the count a little & like the Hitting setting as they are move the AI Pitch Success Slider to 40. Also roadman, move the Fatigue Slider down to 50/55 max. I forgot to make that change when I loaded v2.

As you say about the L-STICK, I would encourage others to use that same technique.

I would say start @ 100 & work your way down

Downloaded these, then made the changes and started a Franchise.

I went into franchise and checked the 3 hit settings we changed and they were right so I'm assuming they are all right.

This was my first full game , and I only played 1 game on All-Star.

5 Total HR's. 3 by Atlanta 2 by me. Howard and Inabez.

I had a thorw glitch by Utley where he started to throw, stopped and started again, thre a lob to first and the beat it out, cost me 1 run.

I gave up a 4 run 5th.

I was pretty aggressive up to bat and didn't notice the CPU throwing a lot of balls.

Was a pretty fun game I must say

if you bat with the camera behind the pitcher the hitting becomes a little easier because u have an idea where the ball will be going... also its easier to take balls and draw some walks

I played the Astros and Braves and I hate to say, but that was a very bad game. It was nothing but a pitcher's duel between Lowe and Oswalt. Big Puma didn't get on base once and neither did Chipper. Something's wrong about that.

Hey Joe big up on the sliders. Now please bear with me here. Im not that great at baseball games and played my first full game on Legendary Custom with your sliders and lost 3-0. I didnt generate a hit until the 5th inning (Playing OAK) and I had no strikeouts against them while mixing up my pitches. I was wondering if moving down to All-Star would ruin the sliders considerably? I know I gotta get better at pitching but that will come in time. Im also using the right stick for it also. Any help would be appreciated
