    Otherwise these sliders use all the same pitching & batting logic that Joe completely nailed... the feeling is that by adjusting certain sliders to 50 (which appears to be the default setting) players will play more like their real life counterparts.

        On the other hand I've had the same situation, but under different circumstances... Snyder up, no outs, nobody on.... Snyder smacked a line drive to right which one hopped and the CPU took the safe route and threw it to second... Some it could be situation dependant.

        But please keep me up to date on any observations you might have.

        ok, just finished a game and was in the same situation where i think the rf had a chance to maybe throw out my guy running to 1st but instead threw to 2nd, thats good, with throw agg. at 10, the one guy i did see almost thrown out at 1st in an earlier game (forget what i had throw agg. set at) was yadier molina of the cards, his speed is only 18, god thats slow, even matheny of the giants is a 32, i'm going to keep an eye on this and if it happens might raise their speed if its to slow, seems like when you tap A button with these settings its not really that noticable, just a slight increase in speed i guess, in the outfield it seems to be more of a burst, that could just be the angle one sees the outfielder running at.

                        Just finished my first game with these sliders, and I am impressed. Man am I glad a solution was found for the past balls....not one single passed ball the entire game. I saw a little of everything in the one game I played, including 4 walks. I walked twice, and I even walked the CPU twice. My first impression are that these are great sliders.

                          Just finished my first game with these sliders, and I am impressed. Man am I glad a solution was found for the past balls....not one single passed ball the entire game.                             I would suggest:

                            1st: Turning Slamzone-ON in the options menu
                            2nd: Set the Slamzone sliders @ default 50 & work from there.

                            As for the sliders themselves. You don't have to change anything.
