    hey bigj, i am enjoying the sliders but i have noticed that the computer ai seems to be making all kinds of gold glove plays everytime i hit the ball to a fielder and when it looks like it should be a hit out of nowhere the fielder snags the ball. was wondering if you have this problem and if there is a way to adjust a slider to make it harder for the ai to make plays like that. thanks

      You can turn down the AI Fielder Agression a little... probably around 30, but I would not go much lower than that or you will see the AI make some atrocious fielding decisions.

          Hey guys I've been testing out Human Errors at 25 and AI Errors at 40 and the results have been really good... still no passed balls, and for those who felt there were a few too many errors this seems to be a pretty happy medium.

          PS I'm also toying with the idea of cranking up the AI Sacrifice Bunt setting, I still don't feel the CPU makes enough of an effort in this area, and I may tweak Hit and Run up a few notches... I've seen a few, but "smallball" teams should be doing this with more regularity and they are not.

              hi guys, i just tried a few games using classic pichting mode, from what i notice its much easyer to picht,right?? i had a great game with schilling getting 14k and alowing only 1 run and 3 hits.. before, when i used kzone, my best game was 7k and alowing 4 hits..so one thing i didnt understand, is how does this classic mode works, like when does your pichter throws meat picthes and what decides which effort(or strengh)the pichter is throwing the ball(beside the picht type)..any guess guys?
              my guess, from what i understood is that this classic mode, the user work like the cacther just calling pichtes...is that right?

                  For all those using our sliders, please change the following:

                  Lower AI Take Strike Overall to 60

                  Bump AI Take Balls Overall to 75
                  Take Balls when ahead- 70
                  Take balls when behind- 65
                  Also lower AI Error to 45

                  The AI will work the count & will make you pay if you leave 1 over the plate

                      One question for either joe or gallandro.....

                      What are your grayed-out throwing settings for user and AI set at? I realize you can't change them, but as I noted in another thread, they're locked to whatever difficulty level setting you started tweaking from. That means that the throwing settings might be differing from user to user, depending on which setting they started from.

                      I'll play few a games and see how it goes (including those tweaks you just mentioned). The passed balls fix has made the game a lot easier to stomache.

                          Can someone please post an updated list of slider settings? It gets confusing having to look through all these posts to find out what sliders were tweaked. Also, what difficulty are these sliders meant to be played with?
