Yes I have noticed this too, the more often I play games. Weaker hitters taking "good" pitches and putting them over the wall. This so far has been my only gripe with an otherwise perfect game. Maybe it is the whole respect thing, I respect the CPU. I dont pitch "fat", only on 3 - 0. I try to pitch realistically, weaker hitters will see better pitchers than stronger ones. But late in the game with a short lead last night playing with a drafted Yankee team in a dynasty and watching Alex Cora take a borderline low and away, more ball than strike, two seamer over the wall irked me a bit. Im not going to start to pitch to a guy like Cora or Brian Roberts the same way I pitch to Pujols. Just wondering if anyone else is seeing this more and more, and if Pared is going to address this as well.

When I started out, I was an equal opportunity home run producing hitting machine. Lefties, righties, sluggers and guys who can throw the ball farther than they can hit it. They all had their fun. I've gotten a lot better though and I've really only been taken deep on mistake pitches.

I love the nervous feeling you get when you miss your spot and you hold your breath praying the batter doesn't abuse you for it. I missed twice badly in a one-run game last night and lucked out tremendously both times.

Pared, would you recommend turning off controller vibration for those on the console? It's been pretty easy painting the corners, but I don't know whether that's because of the controller vibration or the awesomeness of the pitcher (Jake Peavy).

I have been using these sliders for a while now and I am getting pretty good results. The only concern I have is that I am 11 games into my Reds dynasty and already Sean Caasey has 12 homeruns. This dude has hit a homerun in every single game and two in last nights game. He leads the league by six home runs. Everyone else on my team is about "normal" Dunn has 4 and Griffey has 3.

Any idea what is up with Sean? Just a great streak or does there need to be some adjustment somewhere?

Geez, I wish I had a streak like that. In my games with the Cards I managed to hit 0 with pujols in over 5 games. In fact in five games the cards have no HRs because of me.

Thanks again Pared for the great sliders. My only problem is the cpu always swing at the first pitch if it's a strike. I'm not sure how to change that. Also, is it possible to know if you are gonna an update soon or you think the game is fine as it is right now?

                            Lower CPU swing frequncy.

Hey Pared, just some observations from your sliders after 20 or so games:

-I've been noticing the CPU taking way too many called third strikes, it's like every hitter is becoming Ben Grieve and just not wanting to swing. I've had some at-bats where the CPU has struck out on full counts, and they didn't swing the entire at-bat.

-With the CPU pitcher's ball rate increased, it seems that the CPU pitchers are getting themselves into trouble too often, and its resulting in huge innings. Maybe its because I'm very patient, but I've drawn walks with pitchers against the CPU on what seems to be a too frequent basis

-The pitch counts are going pretty well for both sides, but this seems to hurt the CPU more than it hurts the Human, because it's almost as if the CPU doesn't know when it absolutely needs to throw stirkes (i.e. runners on 1st and 2nd, average hitter at the plate, but a masher is on deck, and the CPU walks the average hitter). Because of this it seems I can get 4 or 5 run innings too often, because the CPU falls behind in the majority of at-bats.
