Use Pedro and bean the first 2 batters of the game like he did a few years back to Soriano and Jeter.

I'm just going to adjust the pitching and hitting sliders using pared's, the rest of the game plays just about perfectly.

I just played another game with Tim Wakefield on the mound. Very tough game and felt very realistic. I lost to the Angels 5-3. I didn't keep track of their stats because I'm trying to change my hitting style and it will take me some time.

Wakefields line: 6IP, 6H, 4R, 4BB, 5K's 1HR, 92 Pitches

I play with hot/cold zones on fade which gives me a little bit of an advantage on the first pitch to each batter but it really shows you the importance of throwing a first pitch strike. Most of my hits and walks came in situations where the counts went to 2-0. I either had to give them a hittable pitch or continue trying to nibble and risk a walk. It made it even tougher with a guy like Wakefield because his fastball isn't exactly overpowering.

I definitly have to raise the Pitcher's Fatigue for both human and CPU.


I mean I usually throw 2 balls per count and I am still getting into the 8th with 30% stamina with my 5th starter easily.

Pared, don't you think -5 for pitch speed is WAY too slow? I have it on +30 because anything lower seems like it's in slow motion...

Just want to say thanks for all of your work on this.

If I play with auto fielding, can I assume that I should set my Infield and Outfield settings to be the same as what you have for the cpu?

Just played Yanks/Sox opening day in owner mode (I'm Yankees).

Johnson: 7 IP, 4 hits, 7 Ks, 0 BB, 0 R
Schilling: 8.1 IP, 7 hits, 5 Ks, 1 BB, 3 R
Gordon: 1 IP, 3 hits, 0 K, 0 BB, 1 R
Rivera: 1 IP, 2 hits, 0 K, 0 BB, 1 R

It was 2-0 me in the 8th, Gordon gave up a run to make it 2-1. In the 9th, Rivera gave up another to tie it up but Matsui came through in the bottom of the 9th with a walk off HR off of Schilling, guess they left him in too long.

When I took Johnson out after 7, he was at 50% stamina. I felt like I was working the count a bit against Schilling but I guess not enough.
