Hey Pared, I'm noticing a LOT of balls by CPU pitchers now, I mean maybe more than I should be seeing. It may just be a minor league game, but right now the pitcher has thrown 66 pitches in 3 and 1/3, and has 5 walks. The game before, Jeremy Bonderman also through 5 walks.

Yikes. I can believe it, as I did not test any minor league games...

Try them out on the Majors, first... We can find a happy medium afterwards...

Sheets actually faced 37 batters (7.2 IP=30 outs + 6 hits + 1 walk)! This comes to 1.92 pitches per AB. That said, patience is the key. If it would have been between 3.5 and 4.5 AB's, this would have raised the pitch count to between 129 and 166!

Last time I looked, 7.2 IP equated with 23 outs.....

23+6+1=30....

IP are measured by outs, 3 outs/inning....

Sheets actually faced 37 batters (7.2 IP=30 outs + 6 hits + 1 walk)! This comes to 1.92 pitches per AB. That said, patience is the key. If it would have been between 3.5 and 4.5 AB's, this would have raised the pitch count to between 129 and 166!

Last time I looked, 7.2 IP equated with 23 outs.....

really soild slidres Pared, they are working great, The only thing is I was playing qith our Mets against the Yankees and I got hammered 12-1, even though I got my @$$ whooped, I enjoyed the get a lot. I really think this game is great, and I sad to see it will be it's last effort this year.

Use Pedro and bean the first 2 batters of the game like he did a few years back to Soriano and Jeter.
