I know, then you throw in the drug cocktail and there you have it.
While every Gaint fan throws out the, "Well has he ever tested positive for steroids" BS, they always leave the HGH argument out of it. Why is that? I'm guessing it doen't fit into your perfect little Barry box. I wonder what they'll all be saying when he kicks the bucket at 50?
2) If he died at 50 what would that prove? Autospy nonwithstanding, I don't see how the fact of him dying at a specific age would prove anything one way or the other. The wear and tear he's placed on his body all these years is absolutely maddening and I wouldn't be surprised if one day his heart just gave out, it's not terribly uncommon for athletes to pass away in their 50s.Comment

Sure, but there is truth that. If they are taking it why not you. It will make you a super star and make millions. I hear what people say about having morals and all, but you are telling me you wouldn't take steroids if it was going to make you millions? Man that is tough, I would like to say I wont, but millions I don't know.
Plus, one can be well off enough working a normal life and investing/saving properly. It's just that too many nowadays have to buy the latest and greatest and don't bother saving (or worse yet, keep a balance on a credit card). Multi-millionare might be tough (unless someone is a CEO), but millionare - certainly. Truthfully, I'll be very disappointed if I don't reach that level.Comment

1) You don't think there's some investigator looking into what he could potentially be taking? Just because there is no test for it doesn't mean you can't be found out. They've caught people taking HGH, and there hasn't been a test for it. So no, you don't have that argument to hang over people's heads.

Knowing that he's under a microscope there probably isn't a chance in hell that Bonds is ultra careful about how he goes about doing things.

Yeah they were safe at least that is what they said! lol. I had friends that took the bad ones in Jr High. He was benching 300 after taking them. Now he is benching 500. I could have taken them too, but I was to scared to not grow so I passed. I am glad I did. lol Taking steroids is stupid and wrong, but when you are an athlete and a lot of players are taking them I can see why some take them.Comment

Personally, I wouldn't take them to make millions. I can guarantee that. It's not worth risking my health, well being and the children that I plan on having growing up fatherless (ie: Caminiti is a good example).

Out of curiosity, how does he get caught and prosecuted for taking HGH without a valid test in place in the sport of baseball? HGH is undetectable without a blood test and MLB doesn't perform blood tests.
I believe the Olympics and bicycle racing (Tour de France) are the only 2 sports that perform a blood test.
If they really wanted to they can check medical records. At least the government can. I still feel baseball didn't care, they like the all the money they were making off Mark and Sosa. They have the government, baseball and other people trying to find stuff on Bonds and still have nothing to stick.Comment
