Brett Jackson: .314 8 HR 17 RBI in 105 AB's and 5 of his 8 HR's have come in the last 10 Days, also has 10 RBI's in the last 10 Games.

Not really a top Prospect but

Bryan LaHair 1B : Is tearing up AAA Ball, .331 Avg 31 HR's and 86 RBI's

I figured it's time to at least give you guys a heads up on two prospects:

SS Adeiny Hechavarria spent most of this season with AA New Hampshire and has recently been called up to AAA Las Vegas. He hasn't posted much offensive numbers as that's not really what the Jays are looking at him to be (at least not right now) I've been hearing reports of him being quite good defensively and is one of the best defensive prospects out there.


C Travis d'Arnaud has been tearing it up in AA and as a catcher this is pretty damn impressive. He has a BA/OBP/SLG of .326/.393/.558 with 17 HRs and 61 RBI. It's going to be really interesting to see what the Jays do if d'arnaud continues to progress as an offensive force. I've also heard a couple days ago by AA manager Sal Fasano that he's made tons of improvement on catching and calling games and has a good relationship with the pitchers. The kid has a ton of promise as he's only 22!

I'm really excited for Tajuan Walker and James Paxton to join future rotation with Felix and Pineda at Seattle.

Walker (3 weeks from 19th birthday) (A) - 4-4 2.84 ERA 94 K's 31 BB

Paxton (Recently called up to AA, and has struggled in 2 of his games there) - 4-3 2.73 ERA 95 K's 39 BB

Paxton will be a stud. At worst, barring injuries, he'll be a #3 or 4.

This year: 46 G, 67 IP, 9-1, 1.88 ERA, 86/22 K/BB, 10 SV, .202 BAA.
Righties have hit just .068 against him!

Had a perfect game through 6 1/3 innings.


Alex White did good today too.

7 2/3 inning and only allowed 2 hits.

Kyle Jensen looks like he could be another stud prospect for the Marlins in the future we'll see. He hit .299/.373/.524 27 HRs 76RBIs between A/AA, he was named the FSL player of the year despite being in AA for the whole month of august.

Last year's 1st rounder Yelich also impressed in Greensboro going .312/.388/.484 15 HR 77RBIs 32SBs
