Another all-star leaves the AL East? I'll take it.

As far as Reyes, Pujols and that Miami thing. I think they CAN sign both.
Tho I don't think Pujols will go anywhere.
Reyes, put him on a rocket ship out of NY.
    He doesn't fit the mold.

I really hope the Marlins don't sign Reyes. Can you imagine both him and Hanely on the same team? Both are lazy, selfish players. They are pretty much cancers. Instead of dealing with just one, you have two now.

Not to mention Reyes hasn't put together a full season since 2008 (4 years ago).

An Injury prone, selfish, cancer being overpaid and playing alongside a selfish, cancer. Eventually **** is going to hit the fan and it will get ugly.

You can deal with Just Hanely. Both a guy like Reyes, it's gonna be trouble.

I'd rather see them overpay Pujols for 20 years then Reyes from 5-6. They need to bring back Vasquez, and sign Buehrle.

They've been saving this money, are making a big splash, and the guy they spend it on is going to play 90 games this season. It's like saving up 20,000 bucks and then buying a used car that has a ton of miles and is in horrible condition.

They have made the biggest profit the past couple years in all of baseball....they haven't spend anything, though. Just is not smart to blow it on damaged goods.

I would have liked Bell instead just from the point that he seems like a Philly type guy.

I'm pretty sure Loria made Reyes pay the strippers.

Bob Elliott isn't as connected as he used to be but since Beeston has come back his reporting has gotten a bit better. This could very well be legit. Dunno what to think but this might just be the Jays kicking tires rather than close to signing the guy.

I could honestly see this happening as well... Since you watched JRoll last year, how did he look? Does he have some good years left in him?

So, what... is this supposed to somehow symbolize he's "Philly" now? Wait, I'll go see if I can find a picture of Bell hurling a snowball at a Santa Clause.
