I am really hoping that Frank Wren walks away from the Winter Meetings with a Shortstop. I do not like Pastornicky at all for Opening Day.

I'm surprised that you haven't reported that Greg Maddux has left the Chicago Cubs for a position in the Texas Rangers organization.

Didn't think we could get Chatwood for Iannetta, but happy we did. Love this deal.

Also, guess Ramon Hernandez isn't bad as a mentor to Rosario.

Same, it's showing that they're addressing the pitching staff misfires from the draft by targeting other young pitchers. And atleast Ianetta gets put into a spot to learn more

Now it's Ian Stewarts turn next.

Matt Garza has the talent and ability to pitch in the AL East. I'm just not sure if he is a fit for New York.

Orioles close to acquiring Taylor Teagarden from the Rangers. Start printing the playoff tickets.

I'm taking this post as sarcastic. Teagarden is a good defensive catcher, it's just that his offense has never come up to even AAA standards. Once he finds some contact, he'll be a solid catcher in the 8th spot.

I wish we could get Tommy Hunter back from y'all. I really liked him when he pitched here.

Hate to see Ramon Hernandez go, but that will clear the way for Devin Mesoraco to come join the big club next year.

Curious to see if the Reds can get a long-term extension done for BP and curious to see what happens with Votto. Bob Castellini doesn't want to trade him, but there are some of the minority owners who think they should trade him.

Can't wait for the winter meetings.

I do like the move, actually. He'll be far better than Craig Tatum was as a backup and we really only need him for the 20% of games Wieters will sit. He's a former top prospect so there's still an outside chance that he could improve as well.

Adding infield depth, the Dodgers agreed to terms Thursday with Adam Kennedy on a one-year Major League contract. The deal is worth $800,000 and includes $150,000 in incentives based on plate appearances.
