Seems that a Gio Gonzalez trade to the Marlins keeps being talked about, hasn't been officially discussed with the teams I guess but it'd be an interesting pick up if it got any farther.

Grady Sizemore back with the Indians.

Could the man just stay healthy.

The Blue Jays acquired Luis Valbuena from the Indians for cash. I think this is more of an insurance/depth move but if he does make it onto the 25 man roster he'll be a pretty good guy to have on the bench.

Mariners trade Josh Leuke for John Jaso, pretty excited, got rid of a decent relief pitcher, with bad off the field isssures, for a pretty good catcher.

Apparently the Phillies called Billy Wagner right after the season before they signed Paps:

Interesting idea from the FO, not that Wagner would make the Phillies any younger. Not a great fit.

Love that somebody from the site said:

Anyone else pumped for the Winter Meetings to start? I know I am... I can't wait to see all the moves that take place... I especially can't wait to see who Doug brings in to be our SS.

There isn't a player on earth not named Carl Pavano that I couldn't see the Yankees signing.

I am. I'm curious at what Theo and Co. are going to do this off-season.

When exactly do the winter meetings start?

I'm excited for the Winter Meetings as that's where the Blue Jays usually make their moves. Toronto is looking at shoring up the pitching staff (either relievers or a starter) possibly 2nd base and a backup catcher.

I see that Jose Molina signed with the Rays which wasn't surprising. He'll be a nice fit down there.
