Supposedly the Indians have a trade on the table that "you would never guess." That's a direct line from the GM.

Does it really matter? They won't make it anyway.

Yeah they're already winning the money of the deal if both offers are equal, no state income tax in Florida means he'll be netting a fair amount more.

That said if the offers are comparable like they are now and Albert leaves it will be disappointing, if Miami blew our best offer away and he left that would be one thing, but the fact DeWitt has ponied up to 220 mil over 10 years, if Albert were to leave it would be a tough pill to swallow in terms of still being a fan of his if the money is close to the same.

Looks like the Marlins are backing off Pujols and turning their attention to Prince now.

DALLAS – Albert Pujols appears headed back to the St. Louis Cardinals, prompting the Miami Marlins to switch their attention for a big-time slugging first baseman to Prince Fielder, the Daily…

Apparently this isn't done, just another reporter declaring it was done. Too bad reporters aren't held accountable for what they put out there, sense of credibility is lost

Regardless of money, the contract Pujols gets from either Miami or St. Louis will be a stupid contract for a supposed 31 year old.

LOL @ offering arb to a reliever making $12 million. No potential for that to blow up in your face or anything.

Front page MLB.com headline says the Marlins are going after CJ Wilson, and that it signals them being out of the running for Pujols.

The article itself says differently though, for the moment.

Well they offered 6 years to CJ and are considered the favorites to land him if the Angles don't match that, and are the finalists for Buerhle.

Rumors of pursuing Fielder, but there are conflicting reports. Not sure why they don't go after Fielder if they were interested in Pujols.

Hanley Ramirez is a bitch. After a terrible year, he now wants more money or a trade? GTFO you little bitch.

I'm sick of Hanley get out, I knew I should have spent the extra $50 on a Stanton jersey instead of going with the much cheaper Hanley jersey on ebay

However there is a report that David Samson says Hanley did not ask to have his contract restructured or is being traded so it's all speculation I think idk
