Tigers acquired Omar Infante and Anibal Sanchez from the Marlins for Jacob Turner.

Turner to Marlins Infante and Sanchez to Detroit

I really like it for Detroit. Heard Rob Brantly was also included & Dombrowski is already working on an extension for Sanchez. Seems like a solid move, kinda reminds me of the Fister trade last year.

I'm fine with it cause Sanchez/Infante were FAs after season. What about Brantley/Turner both seem decent.

Seattle radio is absolutely blowing up right now. Unreal. One of the dudes we received was cut by Oakland less than a month ago.

I'm fine with it cause Sanchez/Infante were FAs after season. What about Brantley/Turner both seem decent.

Brantley is a solid offensive catching prospect (Tigers 6th best prospect according to fangraphs) and Turner is our best prospect bar none. With the way Smyly has performed this year and the fact that Sanchez will likely be extended, Turner could be had and we have Avila at catcher for the forseeable future (plus James McCann in the farm).

Verlander-Sanchez-Fister-Scherzer in the playoffs? A potential solution at 2B? Sounds good to me.

Mitchell is a #5 starter at best, most likely a middle reliever. Farquar is a replacement level reliever who's been released twice this year already.

Straight salary dump by Seattle. I hope it rejuvenates Ichiro because he is a shell of who he used to be. Seattle is better off as long as Guti stays healthy.
