    Spoiler

Would be epic. Does anyone know if Luke Hochevar has options left?

Pretty sure he is out of options and if he isn't traded by the deadline which i think is Friday the Royals will not tender him a contract anyway, so Luke's time with the Royals is most likely over.

What do you guys think the Jays would have to give up for Trevor Bauer? Is he even attainable?

I could see Arizona doing that because of their desperate need of a SS.

I would think they would want a package like:

            D-Backs Receive:
            Travis D'Arnaud
            Matt Dean
            Christian Lopes
            and maybe one more

Even though they are saying he is available i am not so sure he is, kinda like Justin Upton so it would have to be a nice package to get him.

I think you're undervaluing d'Arnaud a little there. Christian Lopes shouldn't play SS full time (and it appears the Blue Jays agree with me). They have Davidson at 3B who's basically Matt Dean-plus.

I am really just going off from what i am reading since i do not know a lot of your team's specs. Travis is an offensive catcher that will be able to hold his own at catcher, solid. Lopes is a middle infielder and that is a big need for the D-Backs. Matt Dean could be a solid hitter and you can never have enough hitting as well as pitching. I still think the Jays would have to add a pitching spec along with and the D-Backs would include an Albers or someone.

Lopes is a bat-first 2B that everyone's sorta rushing to overrate... he's good but can't overrate him. I love Matt Dean but he was TERRIBLE. Albers? You mean like your Albers?

I do not think the Red Sox have an Albers anymore

I have no clue about Albers lol. What did you mean by "a pitching spec like Albers?" Do you guys have an Albers in your system I'm forgetting about?

No no no no, i worded that weird i guess. I said the blue Jays probably would have to add a pitching prospect and the D-Backs would trade back someone like an Albers or someone with Bauer.

Agreed, however if Lee doesn't shape up with the stick then he has no chance of being a regular. Watching him in the AFL rising stars game was really concerning, he looked helpless against plus velo.

If I were the D-Backs I'd ask for more tbh.

                          Edit:

OK I take back the "no chance of being a regular" comment, he would definitely go from, say an A- to a B-/C+ though.

Jairo is still a teen and i think he would be a solid gamble. The kid already throws low 90's and seems pretty good but is still far off.

Chase is a just drafted teen here. He was projected to be a late 1st rounder but got carried into the 2nd round and i think he has the potential to be a decent starter or reliever.

I would personally pick Jairo out of the duo though to add into this deal.
