Ellsbury for Lee deal isn't happening. But, I can tell you, Ellsbury is NOT injury prone. Those two injuries he had were fluke collisions with Beltre and Elliot Johnson(145 games in '08, 153 in '09, 158 in '11). I agree with you on not judging Cliff Lee by his W/L record. But back on the Ellsbury trade rumors, if you think about it, what Ben said shouldn't rule out anything. It is something every GM says about every player, even players who they are about to trade.

        Not sure. Don't visit RealGM.

Sure they need an outfielder or 2 but there's no way they trade a guy who's 1 year removed from a 6.7 WAR season.

Your a stat geek ehh.. I dunno I go by what I see on field and a guy who hits for average, is very good defensively, has intangibles, speedy all more useful to me then WAR. If your going to sit here and tell me Ellsbury ain't a good CF. Go and watch him next season and tell me this guy doesn't have upside because that is ridiculous. While I agree maybe throw in a pitcher in this hypothetical trade there is no way in heck the Phillies wouldn't be a better team for adding Ellsbury.

Not everyone who knows what WAR is is a stat geek.

                  Revere for Worley and May?

                  No talk on this?
                  I'm surprised.

Just shows that the Twins mean business!!!

Ok, when can I stop laughing!!! The Phil's offered it as a desperation throw. Amaro Jr. will see this one bite him in has donkey in 2 years when Worley is an ace and in 4 years when May is a number 2.

Let me just point out that this is incredibly unlikely.

But also, Revere holds the all-time longest record for PA without a HR, 1,062. The 25 guys behind him are all pitchers. Of the 119 players to accumulate 1,000+ plate appearances over the last two years, only four — Gordon Beckham, Darwin Barney, Drew Stubbs, and Cliff Pennington — have posted a lower wRC+ than Revere.

His fielding is soooo good but this was a terrible trade.

                            That's funny!!!

I think Worley has ace stuff is he can recover from his injuries. May, well not so much. He is a legit prospect but not really a future ace. But hey you never know, he could be the Jose Bautista of pitcher except he has higher standards.

Even if it could be about potential trades?

I was thinking it could have two components. Real life trades and then people bringing up trades they think would make sense but aren't rumored or anything.
