Heard about some kind of trade proposal on MLBN last night which would send Dexter Fowler to the Reds for Drew Stubbs and Mike Leake.

I was under the impression Stubbs had no value, and I'd want more than Leake for Fowler.

Reds and Indians are in deep talks about a trade that would send Shin-Soo Choo to Cincinnati for Drew Stubbs and Didi Gregorius.

Choo will only get better in the NL Central, so I like the idea. I just hope Cincinnati will be able to sign him long-term or else this trade will be a complete-waste.

This raises a question though. Would acquiring Gregorious indicate that Cleveland has a deal in place for Asdrubal?

Uggh I hate that trade, especially that Choo is only here for one year and Scott Boras is his agent. With Billy Hamitlon moving to CF in the minors too, it really is a one year stopgap and they traded away one of their better prospects in Gregorious for him.

Good trade for us sending Choo and Jason Donald to the Reds for Stubbs and Gregorious than flipping Gregorious and Sipp to Arizona for Bauer, Matt Albers and Bryan Shaw. Re-signing Choo would of been near impossible for us with Boras as his agent so getting rid of him now was the right move. Stubbs has a lot of upside i just hope he can get his batting average up and cut down on his strike outs.

Keeping Asdrubal out of it is a added bonus but i wouldn't be surprised if he is still traded for another frontline starter or a RF.

The State of Ohio made out well on those trades. I'm still trying to figure out what the GM in Arizona is thinking.

Good luck with Stubbs, stock up on the Tylenol the guy will give u constant head aches.
He has gotten worse each of his four years in the majors.

I have seen his stats and i can see why, but i'd like to think he can turn it around with a change of scenery.

Its certainly possible, stranger things have happened. The thing with Stubbs though is that he has never been a good hitter. Look at his minor league stats and you will see. Great defensive player though.

Very good defensively indeed, good on the base's when he gets on. It's just a matter of finding the right spot in the line-up for him, i'd be batting 6,7 or 8 till he proves he can hit consistently. Has enough pop to be somewhat of threat.

If the Mets pull off this trade for D'Arnaud then it will help them a lot in the long run. I don't see them ready to contend any time soon, and this move could give them an anchor on the nice handful of young talent they now have.

Once they leave the Reds they become good ball players again. I expect Stubbs to be an All Star by 2014.

So my favorite team, the Colorado Rockies are trying to trade a lot of players and rightfully so at the moment. Do you guys think Troy Tulowitzki should be traded, and if so where do you think he could be traded for?
