Uhh? Where does it say that LA has a larger # of dominicans?
      BTW your link doesn't work..
Plus, California has almost twice the population than NY so it can be pretty safe to say they COULD be more latinos in LA, but not neccesary more dominicans. Actually, you can bet MOST latinos in LA are mexican.

I'm betting my money on the Mets. Why? Because the Dodgers already have Shawn Green, where will he go, Left Feild? Will Vladi go to Left just to play in LA? He's shown he cares more about the kind of fans there will be in the city than about the money, and Tons of New Yorkers are Mets fans. Heck, if I didn't know better I'd say there were more Mets fans than Yankee fans in NY, but more Yankees fans than Mets in the WORLD. Point is, the Mets need him...desperately...and they have a spot open for him...and the fans he wants....seems like a match to me.

Vlad will not wait until May to play again. He just won't. He's not going back to Montreal, people. GIVE IT UP! Looks like it's either Mets or Dodgers at this point, and the Mets have more on the table (besides cash) than the Dodgers do to offer him. So yes, right now I'm going with the Mets, but I'll wait and see what happens and how it goes down, just like everyone.

The last time I heard about Vlad going to the Dodgers, it was discussed that Green would move to 1B, Vlad to RF, and trade LoDuca.
