Just so you folks stop arguing about inane things and realize the deals currently on the table:

Mets - 3 years, $30 million base, with incentives could eb as high as 5 year, $72 million.

Orioles - 5 year, $67.5 million GUARANTEED MONEY, and reports have them being able to raise that if necessary.

The Orioles are looking at Pudge as a back-up plan. Until Vlad is signed one way or another, Pudge is not an option.

Oh, and the Wahsington Post reports at least one Oriole official feels Vlad now wants to play in Baltimore, they are just posturing for more GUARANTEED MONEY.

Vlad won't like NYC.The guy is super shy with the MTL media and he is even too shy to say hello to them.Truth i hope you're right about vlad possibly staying in MTL but it may be grim.

isn't it funny that montreal was the team to offer the most money, but Vlad turned it down.. well i guess that's what happens when you have MLB controlling the team
