We've seen a number traded though.

Clemens and Dickey were both involved in Jays trades (Clemens from Jays and Dickey to Jays).

Santana,CC and David Cone were all gonna be FAs the following year, but got dealt during the season.

Dodgers president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman named Executive of the Year. White Sox’s Rick Hahn second, Rays’ Erik Neander third. Award given by MLB and results from voting among the 30 clubs, each of which cast a vote prior to the postseason.

I have heard some rumblings (and Manfed himself may have alluded to it) that baseball may not be able to have a full schedule next year as well. As I sit here watching SNF and realize the NFL is probably going to pull off a full schedule (man, the NFL lives a charmed life) I really can't believe MLB would NOT be able to do a full 162. In fact, if they don't have a plan to do so I will count that as an abject failure on the part of baseball...

Meant to post this yesterday, but it was Ken Griffey, Jr. AND Stan Musial's birthday.

Which is notable because they were both born in Donora, PA, just 49 years apart.

Griffey's grandfather, Buddy Griffey, was Musial's teammate in high school.

To be fair, NFL has one game a week for every team for 4 months. MLB will have teams traveling across the US every few days for half a year.

If not a full/proper season, at least a similar version to what we saw this past season. You stay in your respective division (East, Central or West, regardless of AL or NL). Except I'd prefer just 3 total divisions instead of the 6.

Well, MLB won't play 162 next year not because of COVID, but because of the lockout.

I thought the CBA goes through end of 2021?

                                It does

I haven't seen any reports or even rumors of a lockout occurring in 2021.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(
