    Re: MLB Off-Topic

Didn't see this article before, but Bonds did apologize to Pederson saying it was an honest mistake.

Though Barry Bonds didn't remember turning his back on the Los Angeles Dodgers' Joc Pederson when the young outfielder requested a photo with his favorite player, he still called up to apologize. Pederson, as you may remember, told Fox Sports Live earlier th

I know everyone here knows that I'm a Bonds apologist, but this is not why I'm about to say what I'm going to say. I would say it if it was Bonds in Pederson's position and vice-versa.

I've been at the butt-end of being called out for doing something when I honestly had no idea that it happened or how something was taken. I end up saying, "I did what??" quite often. Maybe it's something I need to work on as a person, being more aware of the things I say or the tone I carry. I have no idea. But given that Bonds is trying to rehabilitate his image anyway, I think I asked rhetorically before: what favor would he be doing himself if he actually had intent to ignore him?

Though I think I was defending him more saying that if he intentionally did it, it was probably because he was pulling a Chet Steadman: "I'm not 'The Rocket' anymore." I also did state that it could have been unintentional and he was blissfully unaware that Pederson even approached him. Joc accepted the apology as well. I hope we see a pic of them on Twitter together when they reunite in September.

Sounds like the main reason he called him was because he didn't like that Joc went to the media with the story. Meh, could have been an honest mistake, but it's hard not to assume the worst from Bonds, considering he acted that way with coaches and teammates regularly throughout his career.

If the worst is him turning down a grown man for a picture, I have to wonder why this is even being discussed lol. So bizarre.

Im not even BLZER but Joc is the loser here, you're bothering a guy who's coaching the other team before a game for a picture, a guy who you supposedly idolized and therefore should know how he is with people, and then when it went wrong you went and told the media about it? Im so confused by this lol, this is almost as petty as the D'Angelo Russell Nick Young situation.

Cubs edition Maddux (first tour of duty) against Scott Scudder in 1989. Harry Caray on the call.

There's plenty more postseason Maddux on YouTube, vs Indians and Yankees in WS, vs Cardinals, Phillies, Giants in playoffs.

There's also Maddux vs Smoltz when Maddux was on San Diego.

You know review is taking too long when they start playing songs in the middle of it.

Just saw a trailer for a movie called Spaceman about Bill Lee, what a random guy to make a movie about. I know his story and everything, just seems like a strange choice

In Arlington, Chuck Morgan played either one of two songs. If he thinks it will go the Rangers way, he will play the theme to "House of Cards." If not, he plays the theme to "Curb Your Enthusiasm."
