He's not going to take that, and I expect he'll be managing somewhere. Arizona perhaps.

If Arizona doesn't hire Steinbach then yeah, Gardenhire will be a good hire.

Your average Cardinals fans are utter trash, absolute morons, and just general disgraces. I'm defining average by my experiences trolling their MLB board about Colby Rasmus with the rest of the Jays board.

But the guy has a point. I'm massively jealous of the way their org runs things.

Ridiculous to make a sweeping generalization based on your internet experiences. I have been to games in roughly half of the MLB ball parks over the years and my experience in St. Louis is tops and it isn't even close. IMO, their fans have always set the bar for knowledgable, congenial, and general fandom. To call them utter trash is just...

That's specifically why I defined my average. There could be wonderful Cards fans out there. Based on specifically on my experiences, they're awful.

You're right that there are likely great Cardinals fans out there. That's why I made sure to mention what I based it on.

I think it's safe to say that Cardinals fans (the ones that have been there through thick and thin) are generally some of the more well enlightened fans in the game. It's the casual/bandwagon type fans that give them a bad name.

Oh and i'm also jealous of how they run things. I wanted the Jays to go hard for Walt Jocketty when he was in STL but seeing how his Reds experience has gone...I'm glad it didn't happen LOL.

A trend to look at for the rest of the playoffs. This has been the lowest scoring season in MLB since '76 yet the playoffs have been an offensive bonanza so far.

Usually the trends are the absolute opposite.

I'm waiting for the Royals to just completely destroy the trend, and put up like 10 runs with 4 or 5 homeruns lol.

Amazing playoffs so far! 4 games on Friday decided by I think 5 runs total? Some great pitching, some great hitting, drama in every pitch!
